The packaging for this item was very impressive. It came in a very well made jewelry box with a strong hinged closing mechanism to keep the box closed while in transit. The inside of the box was lined with a cushion specifically made for the shape of the earrings. These earrings are 14k gold plated and very trendy. While they are not extremely bulky and flashy, they are the perfect size to still be noticed. The bubble hooped earrings are on trend right now and conveniently pair easily with any outfit. They can elevate any look from a sundress to a graphic tee and jeans. At the same time, with the vast versatility, it can also be paired easily with a more elegant outfit such as a formal dress for a more formal event such as a wedding. Although the earrings have a bubble design and are very well made, they are not heavy at all. This makes them very comfortable to wear for all day wear. These are the LOW POW in hoops, that extra extra that isn't flamboyant. I have lots of classic thinner versions, light hearted circles hooping my face in various circumferences and subtle variations, I love them, they are my look. These are just for 'thicker" moments. They are more "shapely", more tightfully impactful. Not sure that makes sense but I have earring hoops down to a science lol. And yet these are ironically lightweight. Which, having worn too-heavy earrings in my youth, I'm thankful for, my poor earlobes are thankful. Now I choose earrings I forget I'm even wearing, like these. Comfort is wisely highest on my list.
