Our shop has always been pretty dim because the lights are just fluorescent fixtures that are too high up to be as effective as they need to be, so I picked these up to see how they did and was pleased greatly. They were easy to install and didn't require hard wiring as they have plugs and we were able to plug them into the switched outlets that we have up in the rafters. Honestly, don't look right at these, they are just that bright. Not sure why these are called UFO lights, but they are amazing and highly functional. This type is a little bit more flexible in its uses. They come with a hook with a locking bolt to hang from things and not get knocked loose, very helpful and show these were originally intended for hard use (mines, workshops, barns, etc.). These are well built lights! The white is close to full spectrum and BRIGHT!!! I put these up in my shed and it looks like an operating room when they are on. I can now work on projects with ease! They have threaded hooks and are plug and play for easy install. These are a great value and don't flicker at all! The photos in this review are with them taken back down and shining across the street so you can see how bright they actually are!
