This product works good, however I’m not sure if it actually works better than the factory battery when it was new. So unless you are actually having a below average battery life, I wouldn’t say this would be an “upgrade”. But instead more of a replacement. But again, they work good, and seem to be good quality, just not an “upgrade” like they advertise. Read more

This is a set of batteries and tools for the standard PS5 controller. It comes with the two stronger batteries, the spreader tool and a micro Phillips screwdriver just like advertised. The tools are actually decent quality and couldn't have been easier to use. There are plenty of videos on YouTube to walk you through the actual battery replacement, but I found the one from "mikethetech" to be most helpful. I tracked these down because after a few years of having my PS5, my controllers started to die after about an hour of use. I made sure these would work on my controller generation, then pulled up a YouTube video to make sure that I didn't break my controller in the process. I've made modifications to PS4 controllers before but had never opened a PS5 one until this battery replacement. It was super easy to switch out. The PS5 controller design has been improved significantly since the PS4 controller and I was blown away by how easy they made it this time around to open and close it. Anyways, the batteries were amazing and I went from a 1 hour charge to a 16+ hour charge. I switched my settings for my controller to never turn off and used my PS5 for about 16 hours and it still didn't die! I was blown away. Highly recommend! Read more
