These are amazing! The suction is strong and the quality is very good. I put peanut butter on them and it’s the only way I can distract my dog in order to cut his nails. I bought these for my cats. For cats, pate food would get stuck in the mat and my cats would get frustrated eating. Chunky gravy soft food worked great and helped my cats a lot with slowing their eating. While the suction cups on the bottom are nice, it makes it very hard to put food on the mat and transport it to another location without flinging food everywhere after it sticks to the counter. I ultimately stick it to a plate to make it easily transportable for the kittens (but then they drag it across the ground..... pick your battles I guess.) I will say one of my cats does chew at the silicone. After a few times theres no notice of pieces breaking off but definitely something to watch out for with biters in case they ingest pieces. Great for the price. Seemsike it will last awhile but I do not let my dog chew on it. Easy to clean, sticks fine to the floor. Size works great and its nice it has a few colors. I stick it in the freezer so the food lasts longer for my dog's enrichment Read more

I used these to help my dog get used to his crate. It worked great for keeping him calm and relaxing in his crate. I would stick the suction cups to the side and bottom of the crate. It slows down their eating. I spread peanut butter and then "Farmer's Dog" food on it. He was no longer afraid to stay inside the crate. Being the intelligent dog that he is, however, he quickly learned to pull it sideways and move it outside of the crate (we hadn't yet added the door in our training). Also unfortunately, he decided to eat half the mat. Usually, I picked it up as soon as he was finished. but it only takes one time of distraction. He pooped most of it out (it's soft silicon), but he did cough up one piece several days later and moaned a few times before coughing it up.
