This hood will keep the cold off of your face but it is very thin fabric. It really is wrinkle free and arrived ready to wear. The band part you pull up over your face stays up but isn't too tight on your face. This is for my husband and it fit him well. I have a smaller head and it stayed up but felt a little loose.
