I picked this up mainly for skiing, and it’s honestly been a great purchase. The fleece is softer and warmer than I expected, and it does a surprisingly good job blocking the wind—especially on those days when the lift ride is extra cold. What I like most is that it fits well without feeling tight. I can easily wear it under my helmet, and it doesn’t shift around or bunch up. It also covers the neck area nicely, which is something some of my past balaclavas haven't done as well. For the price, I think it’s kind of a no-brainer. IT is fleece material. It does keep you warm, but after wearing it for a while, the fabric does loosen up causing it to fall off from the nose. Short term use for like shoveling is good. Using long term if you work outside, may not be worth it. Read more

These are simple masks, they're warm and a great value for coming with 2 face masks! The material is fleece inside and out - very comfortable and soft, the sizing is good for a size L-XL head based on helmet size and it comes with a cheap carrying bag. It is somewhat stretchy, so it isn't too tight when putting it on. Overall, a good product and value! It'll keep you functionally warm during the winter and ski trips. I wish they were a bit longer down the neck but I guess I can wear a scarf with them to fill in the "flesh" gap. I haven't had a balaclava before so I don't know if other makes are longer in the neck but I would prefer more neck material. Read more
