This led light is pretty good. The box looks like it's rebranded inventory from a different manufacturer, but whatever. Several of the product photos here don't match up with what I received. The pics showing a hook hanger on top of the light appear to be a different product. There was no hook included with mine, and the back ballast is not removable (indicated by the bolts in those pics). The only hanging option included with mine was the iron ring. Build quality overall is great. The adjustment options for wattage and color temperature are nice, and they work well. You can also attach a dimmer to fine-tune the light within the wattage selected to fit your needs. There's some light flicker while actively dimming/brightening, but it stops if not actively adjusting it. It doesn't seem to produce much heat, even maxed at 100W leaving it on for hours, the unit is only very slightly warmer than the ambient air. Your skin will feel some heat from the light coming off of the LEDs if you're close to it though. Not sure if there's any UV light coming out of this fixture, but it really reminds me of standing outside on a sunny day if you're within a few feet if it. My only real gripe with the light is the really short power cord. It's only a foot long. There's also no way to swap it out for a longer cord, at least not that I can readily identify. Not the end of the world, but a bit of a nuisance requiring it to be mounted directly next to an outlet, or running an extension cord to it. Read more

This is a great light. It has 3 power settings, and 3 color settings. We chose the 6500K 80W settings and it is perfect in our basement. It doesn't get hot and provides plenty of light for the area of the basement where we needed more light. It was easy to hang and even has locations to attach a safety cable. There are dimmer wires, but with the 3 power settings they almost seem redundant. This is an excellent choice to light a large area with a single light. I recommend it. Read more

Sweet shop light for really bright light needs. Don't get this if you don't need bright lighting, this wouldn't work for you. It's very bright, plugs in, hooks on the roof and done. Install an outlet one a switch so it can easily be turned off but the cord is a good length so maybe just run it to an outlet not high up. Either way, great price for a great light. Read more

Nice, bright light. This is one of the unusual ones that comes with 3 power settings, Low, Med, High and it has dimmer wires you could connect. Most don't have that It looks rain-tight and is more compact than expected. Heat levels on medium were pretty low, not hot at all. Read more
