Reduced Vibrations: Before the replacement, the washer would shake violently, especially on spin cycles. After installing the four new rods, it's much quieter and much more stable. Good Compatibility: This kit is clearly designed for a variety of models it replaces OEM parts W10594080, W10735786, W10748956, and more. Straightforward Installation: With basic tools (screwdriver, pliers), I was able to replace all four rods in under an hour. Need to Replace All Four: To get full stability! Overall: Highly recommend this part if your washer is shaking or “walking” during spin cycles. It solved my problem, feels robust, and is a lot cheaper than paying for a service call or replacing the whole machine Read more

Our 6 year old Maytag washer began banging around on the spin cycle about a month ago... with every load of laundry it got worse. I began researching the issue and learned worn out suspension springs can cause the washer basket/drum to be thrown out of balance causing it to bang into the sides of the washing machine. This replacement suspension kit fixed the issue!! The washing machine functions perfectly again and they were very easy to install. Read more

Received the kit and installed them the same day. Installation was very easy. Everything worked great for the first few days and then it went south from there. Washer started shaking worst than it did before and was making loud noises from the drum banging on the side. Contacted Amazon support and they said I could return for a replacement. Now why would I want to replace the suspension with another suspension kit that failed with just a handful of washes? Not happy at all with this purchase and I do not recommend getting this product as it does not last. Read more

After reading reviews I decided to purchase some additional grease and repack the bushings and rods before installing these. We have done about 20 loads since installing them and the shaking is gone. Time will tell how long they last. Read more

Worked for my Maytag washer. My washer would shake so bad on spin cycle. I looked on Youtube videos and they said if the black part (that is circled in picture) slides easily with your fingers you need to replace the suspension rods. They showed hacks on YouTube that you could do to keep the old ones going. But I went ahead and replaced them all. Also they come with the plastic parts that the rods slide on. The ones on my washer were also cracked. It's a two person job, someone needs to grab the rods so they don't fall back down. That way you can grab it and slide it on to the plastic piece that keeps it in place. Took me about 1-2hours. You can tell my washer was shaking bad because the padding inside that the wash basket hits was all worn out. I ended up putting some other padding in there. Once I replaced them all I tested washer and I got 3 small shakes. I thought it was still broken, but it never did it after that. Maybe they were settling in place. I've done about ten wash loads from clothes to big blankets and it has been smooth. I can't say how long these will last but for $35 it's way better than having to buy a new washer. Read more

This product fixed our washer that wash shaking and making a ton of noise. I installed them once with a black plastic piece that was not on the original springs. After installation the washing machine was actually worse. These pieces raised the drum of the washer high enough that it was contacting the lid of the washer. I then disassembled the washer again to remove the black pieces (they slide off), and reassembled the washer and it works as it should now. If the black pieces weren’t used on your washer remove them before installation Read more
