I’ve only had limited time with these resistance bands because of recent rotator cuff surgery, but I purchased them because I knew COVID-19 was impacting the increased demand for these types of products, and I wanted to have something while supplies were available. I chose this product based upon the product description, photos, and reviews on Amazon. When my physical therapy regimen gets to a point for actual strength conditioning, I’m going to need these bands since the corporate gyms are closed. In the meantime, my son and bf have been using these bands and they’re getting daily use from them in this age of social distancing. Having looked at and used the product for certain movements, everything is of good quality and as promoted on Amazon. My son says they’re excellent and actually asked me to send the link to him so he can get them on Amazon. While they won’t replace the vibe and feel for lifting plates in a gym, during the pandemic, these bands make the best with what’s possible. The bands do the trick, especially if you can get creative. I dig the portability for taking them out to my patio/deck, and even to the neighborhood park. For now, I’ve given the durability category 5 Stars, yet we’ve only had the product for 3 weeks. If anything changes in the next month or two, I’ll revise and update my review. Read more
I normally don't review products this soon. I just recieved the items today. Ankle straps. Wow! They're comfortable. I really want expecting much for this price range, and the ankle straps are definitely worth it. Time will tell how durable they are, but I think I'll get my money's worth out of them. Wrist wraps. Again, I wasn't expecting much. Never used wrist straps before, but I did choose this bundle because, hey what the heck, they're included. I don't have experience using the wrist straps, so I have no idea how they compare to others. They do provide support to my wrists. The thumb loop should have been sewn in so that it wraps nicely around your thumb though. Instead there's the one side that had to fold over because it was sewn as a flat loop. I'll give them a try. Resistance loops. They're thin. I guess I was expecting them to be a little thicker. They do give resistance and I'm sure I'll find ways to use them. The heavier ones do make me sore on the outsides of my thighs, so they are doing what they're intended for, adding resistance. Resistance bands. They're thin. They do seem to have the appropriate ratings though compared to other more expensive resistance bands that I have. I was looking for bands with these kind of attachment points. They're more versatile than the ones that have to hook into their own proprietary handles and attachments. I do wish that they sold sets of just the bands though. Because there's not enough of the higher weight bands in this set for all of my needs. I'll end up buying other set just for extra bands. The towel. A decent towel for working out. Again, I've never used one in the gym. But I'll find a use for it. Door anchor. This thing is not going to slip through the door unintentionally. Just remember to put it through the hinge side of the door. Doors don't have enough strength on the latch side or top. Sliders. They're about the same size and basic construction as another set of sliders that I have. But the ones in this set seem to be tacky on the smooth side. So if you're using them on carpet, you'll need to wear shoes or socks with some grip. Otherwise, you're foot will slide off and the slider will stay put. And just one general complaint. There are several pictures of overly photoshopped Asian models demonstrating the different items on the packaging and instructions. They're photoshopped to look caucasian. I don't care if your Asian, African, European, South American, American or what have you. I buy a product for being in an acceptable price to quality ratio that works for me. If I like it, I buy again. I don't care who is making it or selling it. Read more
I originally saw this set advertised in an email from "Men's Health," and while I normally ignore them because of the commissions earned on sales from embedded links, I clicked on it and read the reviews here. I figured it was a small price to pay and did not involve much risk, as I could always return it, donate it, or give it to a friend. I'm pleased to say that I kept the set for myself. The resistance bands seem to be of good quality, the carabiners attached are very sturdy, and the overall set includes a lot of attachments that combine to provide an incredible value. The color system makes it easy to associate weights and add combinations for your desired resistance. The door anchor, sliders, loop bands, and even cooling towel are all nice additions to the set. If you're looking to tone up, supplement your gym routine on colder days, or simply want to workout in the comfort of your own home without having to buy a lot of equipment, this is a very nice choice. I recently had shoulder replacement surgery and needed a set of bands and equipment to use at home for the days I wasn't in therapy. I found this product and all of the different products it came with and a great price. The quality of the bands match the quality that is used in my physical therapy facility. I brought this in so my therapist could show me how I needed to use them to supplement my visits. My therapist was impressed with the quality and price, he even asked where I got it so he could recommend this to other patients, hip, knee, shoulder, back, great for that as well as just regular physical fitness.
