Holy cow, this thing is bright! I thought it would be well suited to my work area, but it's entirely too bright for that area because the ceiling is too low and I don't have the right kind of dimmer. My employer is happy to use it in the warehouse, though! It should be mentioned that the lumen rating in the title is wrong, but I'm pretty sure anyone who actually buys based on lumens is well aware of that. I should also mention that the unit gets pretty warm - not dangerously so by any stretch, but I imagine you wouldn't want a set of these in a walk-in fridge that needs frequent access. This light comes very well packaged and yes it is very bright, I do like these lights I have many of them we use these lights in out basement our barns and tool sheds and its basically all you need. The only thing i have a problem with is that there is not switch on the plug to turn it on\off . Since you can power this light 2 ways either plugging it in or wiring it, i feel that there should at least be a switch. Also this light your able to switch it from low, med, high by turning the round circled plug that looks like it has a X on it, there's a little switch in there to change your brightness. This light also allows you to hang it either the hook or the metal cable hook that's attached to the UFO Super Bright light, so you have extra confidence it's not falling, because you have that extra security. Overall this is a great big bright light for multiple uses in places where you need alot of light. I've been happy with these lights and will continue to order them for my tool sheds and barns, work spaces..also this light comes with the small Allen wrench to tighten the hook at the top of the light. Thought this would be a nice light to brighten up my work area in the garage.. it definitely did that and then some! This thing is so bright, it will probably blind you if you look directly at it lol. One thing I noticed is that it also puts a fair amount heat so make sure it’s not close to anything flammable and use it in climate controlled environment. It comes with everything you need to hang it in your place of choice. I do wish it had a built in switch, I ended up using a smart plug so I can turn it on and off without having to unplug it. Another thing I want to point out is that the title states it’s 420,000 lumens which is incorrect, it’s only 42,000 lumens but I can assure you, that’s still more than enough light! The media could not be loaded. Pictures can’t really capture how extremely bright this is. I added a video of a room at night time with all of the lights off & this light plugged in & it works so well it lit the entire room. I’m a single female in her 20s & I installed this in my garage in like 3 minutes. It didn’t take long at all considering all you’ve got to do is screw the hook into the base of the light. So unless you want the dimming feature, which requires some wiring, it’s very easy to set up. I was a bit skeptical when picking this out just because I wasn’t sure how well made it was going to be or if some of the lights would be burnt out etc. but it’s very good quality for the price you pay. This clip-on workshop light is fancy and versatile. I like that it’s moveable and bright, and you can plug it in anywhere with a wide beam angle. Shadows can be a bit harsh in dark corners, but overall it lights the space well and I’m happy with it. Read more
