I have been a Gillette Platinum user for 2 years, and I was looking for a second option. The 7 o'Clock Platinum provides a smooth shave and no irritation. I typically use a blade twice before changing. The Platinum is consistently good for two shaves; every 3 of the 7 o'clock Platinums give a poor second shave. I recommend the 7 o'clock as a quality alternative to the Platinum, even though it costs slightly more. The 7 o'Clock Platinum has 10 blades instead of the 5 that come with Platinum. Read more

Smoothest closest shave i've ever had in my life. I can't believe how fast my shaves are with these blades. I thought i've tried every blade and expected these would just be another distant memory. For me these work better then Feather, Astra and Personna. I recently switched to Proraso green tube which I highly recommend. I use a Red Edwin Jagger Diffusion 36 Series.
