50 Gillette Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades

I have always found the full product range of Gillette double edged safety razor blades to be of the highest standard and these Gillette Platinum series blades are no exception. It took me a while to find the right synergy between razor, blades, and shaving cream but once there I haven't looked back. With a daily shave I'm getting a solid weeks (5-7 days) use out of one of these blades and only change the blade because it is so cost effective to do so. It isn't the first time I've purchased this product from this site and I will contunue to do so. I'm very pleased with this product. My Gillette Platinum blades were manufactured in China. I have been wondering if these are even Platinum Blades. I have a massive stock of Gillette and Wilkinson Sword blades. All my previous purchases of Gillette Platinum blades are labeled as such on the blades themselves. Although these state on the packet they are Platinum Blades they are only labeled with the Gillette brand name..........who would know ? Read more

Bought these based on a recommendation. I liked the Gillette silver blades but they only get 3 shaves before they dull. Bought these and they were made in China rather than Russia. These are smooth and sharp. I easily get 5 days before the start to pull my beard due to dulling. I recommend these especially for the price. Read more

I'm a long-time safety blade user and thought I'd try something different to Astra, which are perfectly decent and reasonable blades. The Gillettes are better. They seem to glide a little better while being sharp but not too sharp. Plus I love the absence of glue dots on the blade wrappers. Much easier and less scary to unfold! Read more
