This light is very bright and constructed well. It does not feel or look cheap at all. It does get hot but it has heat fins on its top which help a little bit. I would still keep it in a well-ventilated area just to be safe. The hook to hold it in place is very sturdy and thick metal and can easily be hung up just about anywhere. Read more

This light is super bright. We ordered this for our shelter logic, I thought we'd need multiple but one is definitely enough. We have an extension cord wrapped able tied up into the ceiling and this light plugged into it. It was super easy to hang. At the price I wasn't expecting so much light. It's a good deal. It's just that easy, when the generator's running, the light is on. Read more

This thing is hands down the brightest bay light I have. I have 10 of them and this one out shines them all. It is a pretty large diameter light but super slim. Easily mounted to surfaces where very little protrusion is needed. Everything looks very water tight excluding where the plug enters the cast body. It probably is water tight but I am just used to seeing a water tight screw in cord fitting on my other lights. If you don’t mind having the sun just feet above your head then this is your light. Just don’t forget to put on your welding helmet before you look up at it. It really is that bright. I wish I could post a picture of it on but phone cameras these days are really good and toning down light and making them all look the same. Read more

I will admit, when I ordered the 300W model, I did not expect it to actually draw 300W. I mean, a standard LED bulb draws 6W. I figured 300W was one of those mythical "max" specs that never apply in real life. But, since I have the means of measuring it, I hooked it up to a power meter first thing out of the box. First of all, nearly blinded myself. Second, it actually draws 300W. Like, on the dot. Maybe 290-295W once it's warmed up, and believe me, it does get warm. But that's what the heatsink is for. Very well designed. It definitely produces a "cool" light, and probably not the most color accurate. But it's great for workshops, laboratories, and other workspaces. Just not particularly relaxing. I'm really impressed how much light this thing puts out considering the overall weight and size. Someone needs to slap a battery and a handle onto one of these, because it would make a ridiculously cool flashlight, even if it only lasts for 15 minutes. If you need a lot of light, this will certainly deliver that and at a pretty good value. Recommended. Read more

I got this to put up in my garage work space, to add a bit more light when im working. I now have my own personal sun in the garage. Its bright. Very bright. You definitely want to make sure that it's up high enough when mounting, that it's out of your line of sight, because it is blinding. Installation is very easy since it comes with a regular outlet plug attached. I just had to fabricate something for it to hook onto and run and extension cord to it. It does put off some heat if you put your hand close to it, but it not bad for the amount of light it puts out. Read more

UPDATE Jan 9th 2026 So just wanted to give an update on an issue i ran into. So bought back in April 2025 so about 8 months ago. It seem half of the lights decided not to work anymore. Its like a half moon which isnt ideal but the half that does work, still gives plenty of light so its not all bad! just something to note if you are interested in this item. Overall nice light! I used this light in my garage as I work on cars in there! Super bright and paired with a smart plug, is also voice activated! One thing to note, is that this is a seriously bright light and with that being said, it does put off alot of heat! Almost feels like a tanning bed when under it! This was not a problem for me as I just turned on my shop fan and that was good enough for me! Read more
