I wish I could use this item! I love the concept and it is a very nice screen. It is sturdy and I love the slim profile. It’s very convenient with the built-in stand. I’m able to turn it on and the color pixels and lighting are even and bright. I just can’t get it to link to my phone. It says it works with Android devices, however, it’s only very specific Android devices. Mine must not be one of them. I think this would be a wonderful item if your device will link to it. I plan to add an update if anything significantly changes for this item. Until then, it’s safe to assume everything is still consistent with this review. Read more

I am totally impressed with the MNNM Portable Monitor Laptop Extender! I am in the tech field, so I am always using various monitors depending where I am, and I have to say, I am very happy with this monitor extender. It's nearly impossible for me to get work done with just my laptop monitor, so having a second monitor is important for my productivity. From start to finish, MNNM got this right. 1.Interface Cables - Plenty of them! Everything you need (except for a protective travel sleeve/case) is included. It comes with three different connector options - USB-C, USB, HDMI, Mini-HDMI, and a plug adapter to plug into the wall, if needed. You can even connect this to your mobile phone. What I especially like about this monitor is that because I can plug into a USB-C port on my laptop, the monitor does not need a second power source. That is one less cable and headache to deal with. 2. Monitor quality - Excellent You can adjust the monitor brightness, sharpness, and other aspects to suit your needs. There is a Menu control on the backside of the monitor that will allow you to change the brightness level, but it can also be controlled through your Display Settings (on a PC), by selecting the monitor you want to control. Making some of the menu changes from the back of the monitor a little tricky. Pushing the control and watching the screen change both at the same time was a little tricky, but it works if needed. The monitor is lightweight - in a positive way. You can easily pick it up and move it around with one hand, but it is not flimsy or bendable. It is the perfect balance. 3. Monitor Size - Perfect This is a perfect monitor size when you don't have room for a 27" or larger monitor. I like that the edges are small, so I get the maximum screen space available. 4. Adjustable Stand The stand on the back is a flat bar you can adjust to the angle to your preference. It is sturdy and doesn't slip or need constant adjusting. 5. 3.5mm Headset/Earbud Port If you want to plug in a 3.5mm set of earbuds or headset, you can plug right into the monitor. My laptop has a port, so I can plug into that, but it is great to have this port available. 6. Price The price point is quite reasonable for all the MNNM laptop monitor offers. I would buy another to give as a gift! 7. Packaging This is a well-packaged monitor to ensure that nothing breaks during shipment. 8. Instruction Booklet It comes with an instruction booklet. Note: For some, the print is tiny, so you may need to zoom in with your phone to read it. I could just read it, and I have pretty good vision. Fortunately, it is mostly plug-and-play. MISSING The only thing I would say is "missing" is a protective case/sleeve for travel. It is being sold as a "travel" external monitor, and for that, a protective case would be wise. But I am not taking off a star for that because I like everything else about this monitor. I highly recommend this for its quality and reasonable price point at the time of my purchase. Out the box this portable monitor immediately seems incredibly light. I actually weighed mine in at a shade over 26oz (73g). (My cellphone weighs 10oz so I've been wondering how they managed that.) I use this monitor with a Roku device and a pair of Bose earbuds. It has speakers but I am seldom in places where I am able to use speakers and I didn't try them out. The picture shows Amazon Prime Video Live TV on this monitor via Roku. The monitor does not have a volume control so if you pass audio through it be ready to control the volume some other way. The 1080P display is crisp, clear and incredibly bright so it works fine outdoors in daylight . It comes with the mini HDMI to HDMI cable that you need to connect your source to its mini HDMI input. It also has 2 USB-C ports that accept HDMI via USB input and it can automatically switch between HDMI and USB inputs. You will need to power it through one of the USB-C ports if you feed it HDMI. They include a block and cable. There is no WIFI or Bluetooth connectivity so it will not show as a wireless display on your Windows PC or as a screencast option on your Android phone. However if you have a Chromecast, Firestick or Roku device you can cast to those and hook them up to this monitor. The intuitive menu is easy to navigate but the buttons are over sensitive so it's very easy to make the wrong selection. If you struggle to keep your bag under 50lb when you travel, as I do, this super light monitor may be a good travel buddy but pack it carefully because it does not come with a case. If you hate having just one screen when you use a laptop this is also a great solution for that problem that adds very little weight to your backpack. Read more
