Monitor is perfect for work - MacBook Setup

I replaced an older Dell 24in monitor with this. It works fantastic with one small bug to be aware of. Sometimes it gets into a bit of a mood of recognizing my MacBook Pro via USB-C. The MacBook Pro will recognize the monitor for a second but the monitor goes into standby and never picks up signal. I can switch USB-C ports on my MacBook, reboot the MacBook, new cable, power button off/on on the monitor: same issue. The fix is to unplug and replug in the power of the monitor. Fixed it every time. I’ve had it happen to me 3 or 4 times now in several months. Every time I seem to forget what I did to fix it the last time :) Read more

Bought two of these monitors and they have been great. 25” is just a little small for 1440p but if you sit close enough it’s not too bad. Use them with an HP Elitebook and they hook up fine through the Thunderbolt port and daisy-chain DisplayPort. I even used the built in usb hub for a webcam. Saved me money on a USB-C dock. Read more
