This 150W UFO LED high bay light completely changed the lighting in my garage. The 6500K daylight output is incredibly bright and crisp, making every corner of the workshop easy to see. Installation was simple thanks to the plug-and-play design, and it feels solidly built with a waterproof casing that adds peace of mind for any environment. Energy consumption is low compared to the old fluorescent fixtures, but the illumination is far superior. It’s quiet, doesn’t flicker, and distributes light evenly across the space. Perfect for garages, workshops, or warehouses where reliable, powerful lighting is a must. Read more

Unbelievably bright for only 150w of power consumption. Great value for the money! Of course, the real value will be in how long it lasts. If less than durable, I will certainly update.. I hope this helps you make your decision! I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise. I give this light my Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 5 stars! Read more

I work on cars for funsies and thus, I always need more light. I have a trouble light, worksite lights, overhead lights, wall lights, and yet still.. I can’t find that tiny fastener I dropped.. yeah, you know what I’m talking about. In arrives this UFO light to beam you up to near death experience levels of white light. “Grandpa! Is that you?!” It’s BRIGHT friends. This guy is a no nonsense high bay garage light. It’s not for living spaces, it’s for work. It’s really easy to install with the included hardware, simplicity in function (plug it in=on), is of rugged quality, and did I mention… bright as the sun? The cord is a little short, but it’s designed for garage use, so you probably have one of those outlets up by your garage door opener that’s on a switch..? Yeah, it’s for this light. If it’s not switched, then your neighbors will think you have a hydroponics lab in your garage! For the money, it looks to be a safe buy to finally find that loose bolt hiding behind the intake manifold. The picture doesn’t tell the tale.. my iPhone initially glared out & stopped itself waaaay down so it would take a picture of something.. instead of being totally washed out. It’s really quite impressive. Read more

1. Performance The moment I installed this light in my garage, the difference was unbelievable. My old fixtures barely lit up half the space, and I was constantly struggling to find tools or see what I was working on. Now, the entire garage is evenly lit — no dark corners, no weird shadows, just clean, bright light everywhere. At 15,000 lumens, it’s impressively bright without feeling harsh on the eyes, and it powers on instantly with no flickering or warm-up delay. 2. Quality The build quality feels solid and reliable. The die-cast aluminum housing gives it a sturdy, well-made feel, and the overall design looks like it can handle everyday use without issues. I did notice that after running it for a while, the back of the light felt a little warm to the touch. It hasn’t caused any problems, but better heat management or added ventilation would make it even more reassuring for long-term use. 3. Features The plug-and-play setup is one of my favorite things about this light. It came with a 5-foot cord and a US plug, so installation was quick and painless. I just hung it up, plugged it in, and it was ready to go. The 120° beam angle is perfect for my two-car garage because it spreads light evenly across the entire space. The one feature I wish it had is dimming control. Sometimes I don’t need full brightness, and being able to lower the intensity would make it even better. 4. Durability So far, it feels like it’s built to last. My garage isn’t climate-controlled, and the temperatures swing a lot, but the light has handled it without any issues. The waterproof housing gives me extra confidence, especially when the garage gets damp during rainy days. That said, adding a little more lens protection would make it even more reliable in rougher environments. 5. Usability This was one of the easiest installations I’ve ever done. The instructions were clear, and I didn’t need any special tools or electrical knowledge. Within minutes, it was mounted and working. My only suggestion here would be to include a few extra mounting hardware options to make it more adaptable to different ceiling types. 6. Appearance and Feel For an industrial-style light, it actually looks clean and modern. The matte finish blends in well, and it doesn’t look bulky or out of place in a garage. It feels solid without being too heavy, which made setup much easier. I wouldn’t mind seeing a few more finish or color options for those who want something that matches their space better. 7. Positives Extremely bright, evenly distributed light Instant-on with no flicker Plug-and-play design makes installation simple Solid, durable build Wide beam angle lights up the entire garage 8. Negatives Back of the light gets a little warm after a while No dimming or brightness control Limited mounting hardware included Price feels a bit on the high side for a single unit 9. What’s Included in the Package Everything came neatly packed — the light itself, a 5-foot power cord with a US plug, a mounting hook, and instructions. Nothing unnecessary, just the essentials, which I appreciated. 10. Is It Worth the Price? This is where I’m a little torn. The brightness and quality are excellent, and it’s definitely made my garage far more usable, but to me, the price feels a little on the high side for a single light. That said, considering how well it performs and the energy savings compared to older fixtures, I still think it’s a worthwhile upgrade if you need a reliable, powerful light. 11. Conclusion / Would I Recommend It? This UFO LED High Bay Light completely transformed my garage. It’s bright, easy to install, and makes the space much more functional. I do wish it stayed a bit cooler, had dimming control, and came in at a slightly lower price, but overall, I’m happy with it. If you want to brighten up a dark garage and want a light that really performs, I’d still recommend it. Read more
buys some stuff—September 5, 2025
I love a good shop/work light! And, this is my new favorite. I think the housing is just sleek and it also is very efficient at shedding any heat that might otherwise accumulate. This unit comes with a threaded center point that receives a supplied eye-bolt and chain, ending in a strong clip. It also has a second safety cable mounted off-centre. The fixture comes supplied with a molded Edison connector for North American power. When Im plugged mine in, it seemed like I had turned on a thousand watt stage light or maybe something with even a bit more wattage. This fixture is rated for 150W, making it super efficient. When I hang mine in the shop it needs only to be hung at about 8 or 9 feet above the floor to cast a wide pattern over the whole area of the work bench (about 10 feet or so long and the shelves on either side) or the center where most car maintenance occurs. The spread is nice and wide and does not have a noticeable hotspot in the centre, more of a fading of the intensity as your go further off-axis. As I believe this fixture is a real keeper, hopefully lasting a lifetime, it seems like an outstanding value for either a shop light or an area light anywhere you can hang it. I recommend this item and will be using mine regularly. If it fails, I will come back and update this review. Read more
