Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this little, inexpensive kit to change the battery in my 'cute' TIMAX watch and also ordered the battery while I was at it. Had a little trouble opening the back of the watch, but managed after checking out some online sites; however, I still don't have that back on yet! Struggling with that because I don't want to damage it. Watch is running great, I just can't wear it, so I may have to get some help with that. This kit was also used to change the battery in my remote for my old, but great BOSE radio. I'm very practical and I don't toss things out! Works to remove the back of the pry off watch back, but you can't get the watch cover back on after you replace the battery. I tried using a wide flat bar to press on the watch like in a utube video, and it broke the crystal even though it was on a padded surface. A friend that used to work in a jewelry store said there is a large expensive press that they used to put the back of the watch back on. It can't be done without that tool, which is not included in this set...which makes this useless. Had to throw the watch away, because the crystal is more than the cost of the watch. Read more
