This is by far the best quality grow tent on the market for keeping lizards! The clear plastic windows are much thicker and sturdier than any of the other tents. Much better than other cheaper options. I currently am using this for mushroom grows ( oysters, lions mane, etc.). The option to have the viewing windows open or closed is fantastic for when I need the dark to let mycilia grow or when I want the light to enter fruiting. Great tent, one problem the right and left doors separated by zipper in the center but the zipper is like a zipper on a jacket where you have to hook one half into the other half at the bottom and then zip it up. This is incredibly difficult to do as you need to get down in your hands and knees and pull the right and left sides together to get the little thing into the hall so you can zip it. This is a real pain, and most of the time I just use the Velcro on the flap which is pretty good but if you really want to close this thing up and you open and close it frequently which I do not, it could be really frustrating other than that everything about this tent is right on the money Good construction easy to assemble easy to adjust. Well made, rugged, easy to assemble. I assembled mine by myself in less than two hours and I did not rush. Looks great! Fabric and Mylar are thick, shelves are sturdy. A lot more space inside than I had imagined, but small enough on the outside so as not to dominate your room. I put mine in my office. The zippers are tough, the Velcro parts work well and the viewing windows on the front are great! No need to disrupt the environment when checking progress and climate. Can't beat it for the price! Kudos to CastleGreens! Two double close penetrations on the top, one on the bottom in the middle. Large double close penetration on the top for ventilation and the double closures made it easy to place a filter inside. 4 vents at the bottom that come with Velcro flaps if you want less air flow. If you don't have space for walk-in grow tent, this is a great choice. Read more
If I was writing this review last year, it would have been 5 stars. It was easy to assemble, decent quality and got the job done for a ton of super hot pepper starts. But this year, as I'm getting the tent ready to go, the big tooth on the zipper that seals the left and right doors tore and is unable to be zipped up. Now I'm left with either replacing the entire zipper or fashioning something up with velcro. If this happened 3-5 years later, I'd be like okay whatever, but for this to last a single growing season is abit weak. Read more
Wow, I couldn't be happier. I live in zone 8b, and needed to start seeds indoors but didn't want a mess. Castle Greens grow tent was the right decision. It was easy to assemble and sturdy for my intended purpose. It keeps nearly all light in as well as humidity but has four velcro vents to allow greater airflow, a fan vent, and two large windows for light if needed. The doors velcro back to keep it wide open. The zipper canvas exterior is well made and nice looking with orange trim. I also love that I can take it down until next year once my seedlings are ready for the garden. The media could not be loaded. So far so good. My seeds haven’t sprouted yet so I haven’t used it. But the cover is very thick and heavy duty material. It doesn’t come with lights but I already had my own. It works well with the tube led lights. I just used zip ties to hang them. The shelves don’t attach to the side bars though so they move around a lot but overall I really like it so far, I might buy a second one! Read more
Firstly, this tent is well made, heavy and lots of window. I got this to supplement a 4x4 flower tent. the shelves are adjustable with thumbscrew locks. Level them when moving. 3 levels of shelves. The shelves are split lengthwise 12”x 48”, so you can have a combination of 12” deep or 24” deep shelves. I plan to use the for seedlings, vegging plants before the big tent. It zips up tight. Easy to assemble. If you want to display, observe, this is the tent. I got it for the size and shelving. there is only one 6” vent on top. Four vent windows along the bottom with covers, three 3” access holes; 2 top back, one bottom back. More features than I need. Exactly what I was looking for. Read more
