It’s big and heavy but gorgeous and well made. It doesn’t just fit over the tissue box, there is a bottom panel that slides out so you can pick it up without the box falling out. Very classy, I’m not worthy. Read more

Pretty but larger than tissue box covers.
I honestly don’t know why tissue companies make their box so ugly. I realize that folks have many styles in their homes but I am not sure tissue companies even try to design a box that does not stand out in a bad way. But hey, that’s why Amazon sells tissue box covers – to hide boxes! The mother of pearl tissue box cover by Mowabi is so pretty! It adds a touch of glam to an otherwise functional item. It fits right in with neutral decor. The mother of pearl tiles has no sharp edges so I am not worried about it scratching my end table. There are no gaps with the tiles so it does not look cheap. The slide-out bottom allows for easy refill. And it shuts tight so the tissue stays in place. The only issue is this larger than most tissue box covers. Most tissue boxes are 5.5 – 5.7 inches where this runs 5.9 inches. While I am ok with the larger size, I wish the opening at the top wasn’t larger as well. Remember how I talked about tissue boxes being less than nice to look at? Well, the large opening does not fully cover the box. Overall, this is an eye-catching tissue holder that you could use anywhere in your house but just wish it was smaller to fully cover the tissue box. Read more
