The media could not be loaded. This was an item I didn't know I needed. I had purchased for the price, but the quality turned out to be much better. The comfort of the grip made sharpening my knives easier than the typical sharpening rod. I found selecting the right selection to be easy and adjusting the dial to begin the process. The first time I tried I did not think it worked well, but I was concerned about making sure my knife maintained contact with the points. As I moved to other knives I got more familiar with the sharpener and how to hold it and slide it through the sharpener. I have included a video of me slicing our smoked turkey this year. I sharpened it maybe a little longer than suggested by the instructions. I also cleaned the blade before using it. Our knives are getting a bit older and not as sharp as they should be glad I found an affordable product that is easy to store. I feel the product to be safe to protect you from getting cut if holding correctly and away from your body when using. I did not find any issues. I would have liked there to be some grip on the handle of the sharpener but you can still maintain a good grip without it due to the rubber type texture of it. The size is good for a normal sized hand, I was able to fit my hand through the hand holder. Read more

My husband was a little apprehensive at first and then a week later I came into the kitchen and he was sharpening every knife we owned and his pocket knives! LOL It's weirdly fun to use and the variable stages are really nice and the instructions are very clear about how you should use them. All of our knives are super sharp now, and if they aren't, we're able to fix that so fast! And it fits right in the the kitchen 'tool drawer' so I don't have to find a random place to store it. I followed the included instructional tips for which setting to select and my dull kitchen knives are back in business! This gadget fits in the kitchen drawer. It is one piece so no need to keep it in a bag or anything. It does come with a brush which I assume is to clean out the sharpening blade. Time will tell how durable it is, but I've activated the 2 year warranty that Foodville offers via email. I am happy with their other products so I wanted to try this one out as well. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Love this multi use tool! It's made of quality material’s & the instructions walk you through what sharpener to use for which knife. What really surprised me is it not only does straight edged knives, but also serrated which I didn’t know when I purchased it! Also, I have a tendency to buy new scissors when the blades on mine go dull and now with this tool I won’t have to do that since I can just sharpen them up. So now I’ve got 3 pairs of scissors that are like new, so I’m already saving money! It also allows for right and left-handed users, since I know serrated bread knives come right or left handed as well. In this economy, I like buying things that I know I won’t have to replace in a year, and the warranty on this is fantastic. I’d definitely recommend this tool for people that hate working with dull knives as much as I do.
