Pros: Exceptionally well machined, heavy, finished, stainless steel (not blah aluminum), more magnets than others, gorgeous, low-profile, works with limited portafilter opening of the new Eureka Atom W75/W65 (2025). Strong magnets allow for counter tapping the portafilter without the funnel falling off. Cons: pricier than other funnels but you're paying for higher machined quality, stainless steel over aluminum and more magnets so it's relative. Notes: If you carried over your gorgeous Eureka funnel from your Mignon series grinder to the new Atom series grinder, you quickly discovered there was no way to use that taller funnel anymore. I’ve been using this KNODOS 54mm dosing funnel and espresso puck screen set with my espresso setup, and it’s been useful during daily prep. The funnel fits securely on a 54mm portafilter and stays in place while dosing and distributing grounds, which helps keep coffee from spilling over the sides. The grinder trigger feature makes it easier to grind directly into the portafilter without needing to hold everything in place. It feels stable during use and didn’t shift around while grinding. The puck screen sits flat on top of the coffee bed and seems to help with more even water distribution during extraction. Both pieces feel solid and well-made, with smooth edges and a clean finish. The Gaggia Pro E24 has a 58mm portafilter, but it’s actually closer to 58.5mm. Most of my tools, like my tamper and puck screen, fit much better with 58.5mm than the standard 58mm. While the puck screen works, it does leave a small gap that causes a bit of channeling along the edges. The dosing funnel, however, fits perfectly. It’s made of stainless steel, so it’s super sturdy and easy to clean, which I love. The magnetic feature is also a really nice touch and makes it even more convenient to use. I purchased this set for my OXO Rapid Brewer. It works perfectly I highly recommend this setup. The screen fits over the ground coffee and the funnel helps keep all the grounds in the brewing compartment when loading 40 grams for cold brewing. Read more
