I got these for my shop. I've changed the bulbs and ballasts on my original fluorescents too many times to count. These fixtures installed easily. My original lights cool (blueish) and 75 watts. Not very bright. These new ones are 5000K (daylight) and much brighter. I tested these new lights with an inline wattage meter. The original lights drew almost 100watts (ballasts are not very efficient) these new lights only draw 83watts. Pretty good for a light this bright. Side note: The Amazon manufacturers store has very reasonably priced spare parts, if you need some extras. The kit comes with 6-2ft connecting cables. I needed a couple of extra 6ft connecting cables. I picked up some extra spring clamps just on the possibility that I might lose or brake one. I used 4 of these in a garage that is 13' wide by 21' long mind you the height is 14' which illuminates my garage perfectly. I wish the jumpers were a bit longer but we just added the wiring. Defiantly would buy again. Read more

Got these lights a couple of days ago and installed in my pole barn. The 6 8’ lights really light up the space - the photo doesn’t show how great the light is. I ordered these 6 to try them out - very pleased and ordered another 10 to finish out all of my lighting. These are great. I did have a small amount of damage in shipping, but it was only cosmetic. Amazon delivery sucks Ordered these shop lights because of next day delivery. 2 days go buy and Customer service says they will make a special request to have them delivered today. Guess what they never showed up they came.the next day. Agent just flat out lied and did nothing and ALL my 1 day deliveries take 2-4 days to get. I do like these lights. The difference between these and the 8ft florescent lights they replaced is remarkable. We are using them in our garage. Price was fantastic for what you get imo. Ambient temperature has not affected them, so function has been spot on. The clear housing is plastic of course, so they will yellow with time. I hope to get 20ish years out of these like the lights they are replacing. Read more
