I have a shop with 12’ ceilings. I bought these because I had LED strip lights installed and they started going bad. I figured hi-bay lights can be replaced separately easier than daisy chained strip lights, so I got these. 4 out of 6 were missing the hooks that screw into the top. Not a huge deal but costed a run to Home Depot and $20 to be able to hang them. They’re very bright and look good. I miss the flood lighting of the strip lights though. The ceiling and top 5ish feet of my walls in my shop are dark now. Read more

I had been wanting to improve the lighting in my home shop for some time. I had fluorescent hanging fixtures that were seriously inadequate. I looked at other LED fixtures like these at the box stores but couldn't justify $260 for a SINGLE similar fixture. I stumbled onto these and decided to take a chance as the price was reasonable (almost too good to be true). These lights are, in a word, fantastic. They couldn't be easier to install, and the radically improved coverage and brightness are truly impressive. Honestly, I couldn't believe the difference. I can SEE! I have two hanging over where my milling machine and metal lathe are located, and I am absolutely thrilled with them- I know it may seem silly to be this happy about a couple of lights, but slap me sideways and call me Betty. I am that excited about it. The unknown. I do wonder if they will last as long as they claim. They appear well-built, and the wiring appears typical. However, they do produce a bit more heat than I expected. Not sure this means anything. Also, a feature of the more expensive sets is that you can change the "temperature" of the light, and I wish this product could be altered as such. These lights do not have that feature but, in my opinion, this isn't enough of a problem to keep me from recommending them. In fact, I will probably buy another set. I put two of these under my new carport. The peak is roughly 18 feet. The two extend light out several feet beyond just the carport itself and are very bright so you can see clearly what my be on the ground under your feet at night. Read more

Absolute junk. You 100% get what you pay for. Installed six of these in my shop. The price was super appealing and I figured they’re LEDs, how bad can they be? Upon arrival I was impressed. Looked quality, super bright when I plugged them in. The first light quit working after one day. Flickered a couple times and then went to a dim, barely perceptible glow. I grabbed my meter and went back up there to see if it was a connection issue. Nope, 120v going into the fixture. The driver had failed. I was disappointed, but not terribly upset. About a month later the second one burnt out. Exact same symptoms, and it’s on a different circuit. Verified voltage again and swapped it with another light to rule out any wiring issues. Driver failed on that one too. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time until the other 4 self destruct. You can replace the driver with an aftermarket option, but they are around $100 a piece. Save your money and buy decent lights and avoid the hassle of having to install them twice or purchase expensive drivers to repair these cheap junky fixtures. Read more
