Great light! Easy to install. I attached mine to a kind of cable system so I could move it around. Coupled it with a remote control switch so I can turn it on and off at will. Wish the cord was a bit longer but other than that, no complaints. Good buy, highly recommend it. Just make sure it's somewhere where it has plenty of air space around it because it does get hot (as expected)! Read more

Light is really well built with a solid aluminum construction and plastic lense. The light output is crazy. This light is very bright in the class of the brightest light I've ever seen and with that comes a couple thing first off ensure your installing it high enough to get the full benefit, 12ft or higher seems to work great also placing it in a spot where people are less likely to accidentally look at it is suggested as even a quick second or two glance makes you unable to see for a few seconds. The light mounts with a very sturdy hook that threads directly into the housing and can be hung from any hook or eye bolt and includes a safety wire that can be affixed else where incase the light ever comes unhooked it will not fall on someone. Also should be noted this light gets really hot so watch how close it's mounted to flammable. I would not suggest having the aluminum house directly touch wood or paper. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've been upgrading the lighting in both my garage and workshop, and I've gotten a few of these lights. They are by far the brightest lights I've seen and they really light up the areas you install them in. I have about 1500 sq. feet and high ceilings in my workshop, which also serves to store my bass and pontoon boats, so I need lights which will not only light up a wider area but also provide enough light for that whole shop area; these lights definitely get the job done! I posted a video showing how well they work and how bright this one is. The lights are super easy to install, you just screw in the provided hook to the base of the light and hook that into another hook or eyebolt, etc., that you have mounted to your ceiling or other spot. It can be hung from a chain as well, depending on how low or high you want it, but I can tell you, the higher it's mounted, to a certain point, it lights up a wider area mounted higher up. The light has a regular plug-in type of wire, so no special wiring is needed, just plug it into a normal receptacle. If you want or need to wire it directly to your wiring, you just cut the plug from the end and wire it direct that way. The light has a safety cable which you would attach to another hook in case the light mount was to fail, it would not allow the light fixture to fall. This is a very good aspect because this light fixture is heavy. This light is well-made, the outer shell is powder-coated aluminum, and it has 240 LED chips for superior lighting and efficiency. In theory, LED lights are usually more energy efficient than other sources of light, that, coupled with their dependability and being very low maintenance, these lights can pay for themselves over a period of time. This makes them ideal in larger structures and warehouses but they're also very useful for smaller structures which would need fewer lights. Garages and workshops are ideal locations and basically anywhere that additional or light upgrades are needed. We're building a new building with a small - 30x30 high-bay storage area and these lights will be perfect. They're low cost, light weight, energy efficient, and have pretty high light output. We're planning to install 4 of them at about 16' above the floor. These are super easy to install from a lightweight chain - this lamp is outfitted with a hook so it will not need a carabiner or a quick link. Comes with a 5' cord and a plug, but we'll hardwire ours (per our building inspector). After seeing a few of these off-brand lights, this one has okay light diffusion from the LEDs as there's no lens over each of the LEDs as some brands have, the polycarbonate cover is just a flat piece of plastic. Some brands features a soft start - takes a second or so to come on and another couple of seconds to come up to full power, but not this guy - full power immediately. The unit gets pretty hot, although I'll be mounting it about 4' from the ceiling so heat will not be an issue. This was the most expensive of the UFO lights I've gotten and it has the fewest features and is the lightest, which I believe is correlated to its build quality. I would probably not buy this again as there are other UFO lights in this category that I feel are a better value. Read more

If you need a lot of light for a relatively low cost, LED lights fit the bill. I have many LED lights, and this one is as good as any of them. It has is constructed well with an adequate heatsink, and the light temperate, 5000k, is ideal (for me), although some of my other lights are 6000k, and one is even adjustable. This light is UL Listed (not all are) and comes with a strong mounting hook and cable to hand it with. It comes with a 5-foot cord. It's even UL-listed - not all are. Some of my other LED bay lights have shorter cords and at least (2) didn't have plugs installed. All-in-all, a very good quality IP65-rated LED light. I don't see how you can go wrong with these lights. I've used Metal Halide, Sodium Pressure, Mercury Vapor, and probably every other type of light that's ever been made, and nothing beats LED lighting for cost per watt, efficiency, reliability and longevity.
