It is nice in that the keyboard is half size, but keys still big enough to type. If it was not for that nice aspect, I would given 1 star as the USB cable is so cheap it snapped away from the keyboard in 4 months. Now the keyboard is useless. Read more
Now, contrary to the title, I'll also say the keys don't feel too bad. They are DEFINITELY not mechanical and they don't claim to be, but they also don't feel great for a membrane keyboard. It is excessively mushy to type on this. Best way I can describe the feeling is like typing on soft mashed potatoes. As for the other "features" I must point out the box the keyboard ships in is clearly reused from another product as it indicates a USB C cable but this is hard lined to USB A. This is not listed on the advertisement, so I didn't factor it in to the rating. It did, however, give me a little false hope as it may give you. The keyboard feels okay as far as build quality in this price range. Nothing special, but you are also not paying $100. On top of the build quality, it was plug and play, for the most part. Unfortunately, as there is no setting on the face of the keyboard or in the instructions to change from Mac to Windows, I can only assume Ctrl + Alt + Del does not work in all situations, particularly on unlock in my case. There may be an input cap on the keyboard and, if that cap is 2 keys, this is a huge issue. On the bright side, if the keyboard makes you upset and you toss it, it might very well survive a few tosses as it seems relatively durable for the price range. Lastly, and most importantly, the lighting. It is just bad. The keyboard seems to use light zones, which is not unusual for cheap boards. The problem is they believed there was enough, and then they used very weak lighting. The images I took are at maximum lighting. I have another two keyboards that are half the price and 2-3x brighter. It is so bad to the point the upper corner keys almost don't illuminate at all and there are literal dead zones where it completely misses. You can see two of the three light zones, as well as the dead spots in the images. This is maximum brightness. Read more

Keyboards are a highly personal and subjective topic. Every review should include the reviewers preferences, LOL. I am a typist and my favorite is the old school capacitive touch Realforce 86U. Don't game and have little care for RGB or graphics. Supposedly 60% but feels bigger. Given that, I really like this budget keyboard. There's a slightly hypnotic sound to the membrane thonking away. Typically, I avoid membrane keyboard like the plague, but this one feels different with a soft stop and hollow sounding key caps that sound awesome. That's just me. Build quality -- yeah, not the greatest. My space bar is lopsided from left to right. Other keys are uneven but at least the case is one piece of plastic. I'd be happier if they got rid of the "gamer" advertising and stick to a good budget typing keyboard. The FN combinations are really nice. This would keyboard would also be awesome if it were bluetooth and could then be used when traveling with just an ipad. I typed this review on the keyboard under review and it was pretty good. Just my opinion, 5 stars for being a budget typing keyboard that has a compelling membrane feel. Read more
