The Cherry MX Speed Silver switches are super responsive and perfect for gaming, fast, smooth, and satisfying. I love the compact 60% layout; it’s great for desk space and still manages to feel really functional. The RGB lighting looks awesome and is highly customizable through the software. I got the gateron optical yellows, liner switch they work pretty well I'm not sure if this board is 3 or 5 pin hot swap or just gateron optical. I felt no need to switch out the gat yellows it has, they felt fine not great but not horrible. This hk61 is great for a backup or travel keyboard, it also can sound pretty good with cheap DIY mods, tape mod, packing foam in the case, this keyboard won't impress a keyboard snob but if you want something that's cheap but useable and you won't cry if it breaks when modding it its perfect.
