These bulbs provide excellant light distribution, in an even balanced spectrum, across the room. They only draw 15 watts, perfect for the house. I have noticed no flickering, which is a sign the bulb is about to go out, and I even dropped a bulb from my hand into the bathroom sink and it still works flawlessly. Arthritis is no fun. I'll be buying more of these for other functions. Incidentally, I had to back off 2 of the 4 bulbs in bathroom as they were too bright and I don't wish to wear sunglasses to shave with my 100 year old straight razor. Read more
