These bulbs actually give you yellow light, similar to that of the sun. I have had a hard time finding the right lightbulbs. I kept buying bulbs that gave off white light. Even the bulbs that said "Natural Lighting Color" where white lights, super annoying!! But these bulbs give off a light that is naturally colored, like having sunlight in our home. Read more

Have been using 2 of these bulbs for the past two nights. They throw a nice, warm light. Not super bright but in line for 60 watt equivalency. Assuming they hold up over time, I will buy more. Briefly tested all the bulbs just to make sure there weren't any duds. They all worked. Also -- for others in California, these are one of the only ones I found that were compliant and could be shipped to me. Read more
LED lights are very tricky and overall I'm not a fan, but you can't argue with the energy efficiency so I try. I put one in my ceiling fan with 2 of my current "frosted soft white 60W Amazon Xtricity bulbs" and it is noticeably brighter. I didn't say anything to my wife (who does hate LED lights to be upfront) and she was like did you put a spotlight in the kitchen. Overstatement of course, but I kinda' felt the same way after putting it in. It does have the softer yellow hue that we both want, but I might try a 40W equivalent next time. All in all it's a good bulb, but 3 of them would light up my kitchen way more than I want or need. Again, maybe 3 40W would be perfect. I haven't tried many, so I can only say that I wouldn't buy more of these for my personal needs but in a larger space they may be perfect for you. Read more

Wanted something besides white for the front of house. Using on either side of garage and next to front door. Looks welcoming at night, still gives off enough bright light for safety and for those late evening Amazon deliveries! Read more

Easy to change 6 watt light bulb. Brightness lasts for about 2 to 3 years. Much easier to change than the new LED bulbs. Sometimes the old product is the best. Read more
