The pictures show it running without the power cord, but unlike a phone it doesn’t hold a charge so it is tethered to my computer. It is also almost impossible to get the water out, even holding it upside down and shaking. As to the cooling it does blow cool air in its vicinity but would not cool a room. Nice portable AC fan with multiple, effective functions. Can be controlled through remote control or the buttons. Easy to use with or without water and the intensity of the mist can be controlled. Not noisy either. Read more

This works well enough if you are close to it. Didn’t seem to cool the room much. Be aware that using the misting feature will dampen the area beneath the fan. Also, I don’t like that it doesn’t have an actual plug; it has a USB cord. I just want to plug it into the wall without having to locate the right size adapter for it. But aside from that, it’s easy to use, and the remote is easy to see. Read more

Small form factor, effective for the small studio apartment I occupy, they've been discreet in the placement of the wicking/curtain, I can see some of it from inside the reservoir, but it's not visible from outside, the mist jet makes a fine addition and helps to cool down the body/internal temperature when standing directly in the path of it. WASTE OF MONEY This might work in my 8 year old granddaughters very tiny bedroom. The lights change color on their own, it has a fun mist feature, it oscillates, and it’s almost silent. HOWEVER, if you’re more than about 4’ away from the fan you can’t feel a thing. This was a bigger waste of money than anything I’ve bought in years. Read more

This is a wonderful product, I love all the features of the mist, the timers, the colors and rotation. It does leak a bit when you use the mist option but overall it’s very quiet and does a great job. I would recommend. Read more

Cord that was included did not work, had to use one I already had. Does not stay very cool for very long. Too many bright indicator lights on the panel, no way to turn those off. Read more
