It will cool you down on a hot day.
It's not a bad little AC unit but it does have its pros and cons. I could do without the lights. There's four settings and none of them are a white light. (Which if I were to choose to have lights on my AC, to me, white would makes sense for night light) They're all very colorful, just not my preference. The annoying thing about it is it doesn't save the settings that were set before it shut it off. So when turned back on, the fan is back at low and the lights are bright and colorfull every time. I know it's kind of petty but it's just annoying. I live in a pretty dry climate so even though it holds a liter and a half, I have to fill up the water tank probably every 8 hours instead of the advertised 14. Again kind of petty but I thought worth mentioning. I did get the impression that it was battery powered and rechargeable. After I received the item and found out that it was not, I did look over the entire ad and nowhere does it say it's rechargeable, I just felt like it gave the impression it was. Even the cord that it comes with it is a regular type c cord and you plug it into the back of the unit just like you normally would any rechargeable device. However, That is my fault for misunderstanding. If you get the same impression, just to be clear, it's not a rechargeable unit, it has to be plugged in at all times. The fan speed is decent. Honestly it could be a little bit more powerful or maybe have one more high setting but that's all right. I do however find it annoying again, like I said before, it sets itself back down to the lowest setting every time I turn it on. For the cooling aspect, obviously the most important, it does pretty good for its size. It's not going to cool an entire room off like 8 or 10,000 BTU unit, but I do enjoy sitting about two or three feet away from it and feeling the cool mist on face on a hot day. Honestly don't really see a difference between the high or low cool setting though. It's not really concerned for me because it would always be on high anyways. I do kind of wish that the mist would maybe fall down from the top because it really is concentrated at the bottom of the fan where the water is. Again, that's one of those petty little things that I can deal with. Overall, yeah, I'd probably recommend it. However, like I said, just don't expect it to cool off an entire room but maybe a few degrees. It's definitely more suitable for a personal, portable cooling unit. In that aspect, it definitely does work pretty well. Read more
