About this item

  • MiniLED Will Change You: Mini LED will ruin all other monitors for you. You’ll see dynamic levels of contrast that put reality to shame. Games and movies will take on a new hue as colors explode in up to 1000 Nits luminosity. The Nitro XV325QK's 1152 local dimming zones are calling to you. Will you answer?
  • AMD FreeSync Premium Technology: Say “goodbye” to stuttering and tearing. With AMD FreeSync Premium, the monitor’s frames are synced with the graphics card’s frames, which eliminates screen tearing and provides the smoothest gaming experience.
  • Quick Refresh Rate: Different content has different refresh rate and resolution requirements. If you are playing an FPS or racing game, you will need a monitor with a high refresh rate. However, if you are doing office work or streaming videos, a higher resolution will be more beneficial. With DFR technology, users can choose a higher resolution, or a higher refresh rate based on what is suitable for them.
  • Responsive: Up to 0.5ms GTG (Gray to Gray) response time enhanced gamers’ in-game experience. No matter if the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting.
  • VESA DisplayHDR 1000 Certification: Enjoy all the picturesque environments with DisplayHDR 1000, a plentiful color gamut and color accuracy that’ll make you feel like you’re staring out a window.

Superior to OLED for Mixed Workloads

I switched to this MiniLED IPS panel after trying a QD-OLED monitor. I need one panel for both productivity and gaming/movies, and this fits that demand far better. Advantages over OLED: - Excellent text clarity without fringing. - No burn-in. - Impressively bright and vivid HDR. While not OLED-level contrast, 1152 dimming zones are very good. Some setup tips: - Use a DisplayPort 1.4+ cable for PC. At 4K 160Hz, the included HDMI cable caused brief black‑screen flickers. DisplayPort fixed it completely. - I use the HDR preset with HDR set to Auto. It plays nicely with the Win+Alt+B HDR toggle. - The Acer Display Widget is convenient for desktop control, but it currently forces preset changes. Hopefully, it will be fixed in a software update. Overall: This has been an outstanding upgrade for mixed productivity and entertainment. Mini‑LED IPS and 4K at this size are rare, and the feature set competes well with far more expensive options. This isn't it. Move on.

The media could not be loaded. Review updated. The $450 question we wanted to know is should we buy it? No. After dealing with multiple units and the delays to get the refund, it's been anything but a worthwhile venture. My replacement monitor came in without dead pixels or scratches, but introduced new issues that made it much worse of an experience than the damaged one; screen would randomly garble (tried multiple HDMI/DP cords) and the bloom was unbearable. Even in SDR, the screen causing a crazy glow. Perhaps the worst bloom I've ever encountered. And nothing you can adjust helped such as (dramatically) dropping brightness to 30%, adjusting active dimming, or adjusting for overshoot. Worse, transparent windows suffered flickering. My first unit left me with a hopeful impression; they can do something to get a better result. This was the opinion of someone who hadn't waited over a week for a refund and another for a replacement. I can't recommend this monitor or the headaches it imposes to play its wildly unfavorable game of lottery. Terrible packaging, horrible QC, and I'm beginning to think whatever liquid crystal Read more

Poor quality control and dead pixels

Monitor didn't even come with a screen protector on it which you would think is the bare minimum for a monitor this expensive. When you receive it you will almost certainly notice some dust and specks on the screen because of this. No USB ports either which is known but still a glaring omission. One USB port couldn't have been that expensive to include. This is definitely a Spartan monitor. Most importantly however is the splotch of dead pixels in the middle right of the screen about the size of my mouse and another spot slightly above it. EDIT: I received a replacement monitor that didn't have any noticeable dead pixels this time but did have a slight scratch in the top left corner. A screen protector or better packaging could have prevented this. Read more

MINI-LED in all its Glory

This is a great monitor for the price. I specifically was looking for a MINI-LED 32" 4K monitor with a fast response time which can be difficult to find as most monitors with this dimension are either OLED or IPS. OLED while superior for movies and gaming unfortunately can have issues with text clarity, burn in and response time. IPS has it's own issues, mainly due to the backlighting features of those monitors. This monitor strikes a good balance for the price. The blacks - while not as inky black as an OLED - are far darker than an IPS monitor while giving you most of the benefits of an IPS panel (response time, brightness). In a dark room, very, very little light bleed comes from the monitor. It lacks some of the features of premium monitors such as a KVM switch or multiple inputs - no USB-C pass through for example. However, it is a great monitor if you are looking for a good value screen for work / productivity and occasional gaming. I am very satisfied with the quality and image for the cost. Read more

Requires tuning that acer doesn't let you do themselves.

Effectively uncalibrated hdr with a noticeable red tint when in hdr, annoying. Slight scratches on the monitor display, indicative of mediocre packaging- thankfully not noticeable when display is on. OSD settings basically entirely locked down when in HDR mode. Why bother calibrating only SDR on a monitor clearly intended for HDR usage? Read more

Monitor is good, quality control is not

Works great for me, no plastic screen protector really pissed me off, came scratched and had to return and get another but the colors quality and brightness are amazing to me, as soon as you plug it in make sure to switch the preset to hdr because all the rest look awful, which is really a quick fix. Ultimately, it has moderate issues but it’s still a stunning high refresh rate monitor Read more

Clear and Very Good Contrast. Winner!

Don't have any issues with mind. Love it. I decided on this as opposed to an OLED. No dead pixels. No bleeds. You will need to dial it down as it is bright. Read more

Poor Quality Control

Arrived damaged/defective. Big splotches on the screen that do not go away. In addition, terrible light bleed on the backlight along the right and bottom right edge. Will be sending back immediately, skip this monitor, even at a cheap price. Read more
