Acorn Womens Camden Recycled Moccasin Slippers with Berber lining

my cousin recommended acorn slippers for she has had a pair for many years and they are washable and look like new. These are taupe, carmel and white with memory foam and berber lining. They are so warm and comfortable i aactually shocked. Acorn logo on the outside on back of sole which is apx 1 inch. non skid soles. when i Googled Acorn, it stated the were mfg in Maine but printed on the bottom of the sole states made in china which could just mean the sole. Amending my review and adding a star to these slippers. I was disappointed that the 8-9 was just a bit too small, and was worried that the next size up would be too big. I ordered them anyway and am very pleasantly surprised that they aren't huge on me! They are the perfect length with a nice toe box. They aren't snug, but they aren't flopping off my feet. They could be a bit more snug close to my ankle, but they fit so well otherwise, I want to keep them. They weren't cheap, but if you get the right size, they are worth it. Cozy lining, a nice rubber sole, nice and sturdy for my bad feet and great looking but . . . Unfortunately they run just small enough to be really annoying! I wear an 8.5 to 9 in shoes so I ordered the 8-9 size slippers and my toes are crammed against the toe box. I did keep them because I think they will stretch out a bit with wear (I hope!) and because I assume the next size up will be too large and I can't afford to wear a slipper that could be a trip hazard. My suggestion is if in doubt, order the next size up. I really wanted these slippers to be perfect because they were recommended by a friend and I needed slippers today, but the sizing is definitely an issue. Read more

I’ve only had these for about a week, so I can’t speak to the durability yet. I will say that I only kept them because they were cute. For the price, I would have expected them to be more comfortable. The memory foam is thin and the shoe has very little support. They are very light. I would have liked a tiny bit of heft. The material on the inside is soft and my feet are warm. There is an embroidered acorn logo on the footbed and you can feel it if you wear these without socks. I usually wear size 6.5 for sneakers, so I got the 6.5-7.5 size so I could easily slide my foot in but they feel a little too big, so I probably should have gone with a smaller size. Approaching Christmas time, you might be better off buying some $20 slippers at your local department store. Read more

This brand and style have been my 'slipper of choice' for several years now. I have had this current pair for several months and is the third pair I have had in approximately five years. Why do I like them? While it is a slip-on, it covers the entire foot. That's important to me because I want something to keep my feet warm without wearing socks or having to tap my toes on the floor to keep a backless shoe on my foot etc. This particular pair is a summer weight, but I think it will continue to keep my feet warm in the winter. The upper materials are soft and comfortable on my foot and the lower materials are a little heavier which helps the slipper keep its shape. While it is a slipper and intended for use inside the house the soles have a rubber texture. This makes for a little bit of traction when walking around the house but also I find it can be great for those times when you have to step outside for minute and you don't want to change your shoes. Like when I have to stand with the dogs or need to grab something from the car etc. It has been my experience that the slippers tend to stretch a little after they're 'broke in' so I always get one size down. For example I wear a 9-10 typically in a regular shoe so I get the 8-9. Initially they are slightly tight on my feet, but they become perfect after wearing them for a week or so.
