This is a great kid and really works! Make sure that you read the directions fully before starting the process. That just makes it so that you have all the materials and things you might need it before hand so that you don't find yourself scrambling for for things when you've already started the process. The whitening trays fit my teeth really well and I think they would fit a variety of sizes of mouths. The equipment is really easy to use and the instructions give you a step-by-step detailed view of what you are supposed to do and how to do it. I noticed my teeth were at least a couple shades lighter after the first few times I used this. I've had my teeth whitened professionally before and this is a great substitute that is much more cost-effective and just as effective at whitening teeth. I would definitely recommend this. I do use Sensodyne toothpaste as my teeth tend to be more sensitive when I am whitening my teeth. That's just a suggestion for others who noticed tooth sensitivity when they are using treatments on their teeth. The product really does work and it does so in a relatively short period of time. The taste is bearable and it smells ok. It wasn't sticky and dissolved after applying as stated by the company. The company could include a cheap separator in the package as it is required that one keep their lips from touching their teeth during the minutes the whitening gel is on the teeth: very difficult to keep that from happening without using a separator. I tried my darnest to do this but after my first application of the gel...i had to order a set of separators which made the process much easier. Overall the product works ...well..it worked for me and as such I would recommend the product to a friend. I am actually thinking to purchase it for my boyfriend but i didn't want him knowing my secret to whiter teeth. Lol, he believes I've always had naturally white teeth. Wow! This stuff really works great! My teeth are a lot whiter than they were and I am now a huge fan of this teeth whitening kit. I will definitely be ordering more in the future. It's very easy to use and I have noticed a tremendous difference after just 6 - 7 uses and I still have over half a syringe of whitener left, so it lasts a long time. I have not used the sensitivity gel at all and have had no sensitivity issues even though I do have a receding gum line that can get sensitive from just brushing my teeth. I'm giving it a 3. I imagine the gel itself works based on other reviews. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get to the point to try it. I'll explain. I was excited about this product after reading all the great reviews. I followed the instructions to the letter but the mouthpieces balled up into an unusable mass and I was unable to form them to my teeth. I never got to the point of using the actual gel so I obviously won't critique that. Based on the majority of reviews here it seems to be a good product once you actually get it applied to your teeth. Granted, it's possible I may have left it in a second too long or mishandled on the way to my mouth to form but the reality is this is at best a hit or miss process and I don't think that's a good way to do this. I've formed mouthpieces like this many times in the past for sports. This is a different material apparently. I'm glad it worked for some people. Perhaps I live in a different parallel universe where the temperature at which water boils is different from my friends on earth. Anyway, seemed promising, but no way should this process be so error prone. I'll try something different and keep an eye on this product to see if they modify the molding process. Read more
Even though this is a starter kit, it will last for several uses. The syringes of gel look small but it really doesn't take a lot of it to cover your front teeth. I was slightly worried about using it because I have super sensitive teeth that are not really in the best shape and it mentions that ut may make your teeth sensitive after use. However, it did not make mine any more sensitive than they already are. It has a decent enough taste for what it is unlike some kinds I have used in the past that are horrendous. The mouth trays are a little hard to mold to tour teeth but I have never used that kind before so it may just be me. I did eventually get them molded right though. You just spread a little of the clear gel over your teeth needing whitened with a q-tip and place the tray over your teeth. I started out with 15 minutes the first treatment and I could already tell a slight difference. It also comes with remineralization gel that helps if it makes your teeth sensitive, which I have not used because it didn't bother mine at all. It took about 3 treatments to see a very noticeable difference in my teeth. They are very white and look ten times better than they did. Since I smoke and drink coffee and sodas, mine were pretty stained up! I feel a lot better about my smile after using this whitening treatment on my teeth. It definitely works great! Read more
I've ordered similarly priced teeth whitening from Amazon before, and assumed this one would contain a similar amount to those... no. This is so insanely over priced for what you get, which is one tiny, tiny tube. Could not believe it, thought it might be a mistake... nope. That's what they're selling for 30$. The stuff inside is the same whitening gel that's in all of the teeth whitening syringe products. Same teeth tray. So I guess the quality is fine, just so disappointed with the amount. Shop and compare on Amazon before buying, don't do what I did. I feel like an idiot for buying this. Learn from my mistake. Read more
