I did not buy this for a child, I bought it for myself. I take a couple liquid liposomal vitamin supplements. The daily dose for one is 4ml and the other is 6ml. Just under and just over a teaspoon. I got this so I could accurately measure my vitamins. Works perfectly. I did take a sharpie to mark on the outside where the 4ml and 6ml lines are to make it easier to see.
