I have one of these that I bought a few years ago, and it still works, and sticks to the window, just fine. It fell off once; I just cleaned the window and the suction cup and reattached it. My one and only issue is that you can't read the temperature when it's dark outside. Other than that, I find this to be an excellent product. I've changed the battery once (just recently). I'm now looking for one that works the same way, but for inside or outside, and I'm going with this same brand, even knowing that one can no longer rely on any brand maintaining their product longevity. I'm hoping this manufacturer isn't going with the current planned obsolescence craze. Read more

Bought this from Tractor Supply for a few bucks three years ago. The battery died and instead of replacing the battery I went on Amazon to see if they carried this thermometer and they did, so I order a new one. When you are used to seeing this every day outside your window and one day it does not work, it feels like a void just opened. This window thermometer works so well that I trust it over the weather channel. From the day I purchased this from Tractor Supply on clearance, I always said that this was the best purchase I ever made for only a few dollars. My replacement from Amazon cost a little bit more but still worth every penny. I really depend on knowing the outside temperature and this little guy fits the bill and is very accurate. I highly recommend this as an inexpensive way of knowing the outside temperature. It is a great size with a readable display and I wear reading glasses It is mounted next to my Hummingbird feeder in the shade(NORTH FACING WINDOW) away from direct Sun and it is great. You can not read this at night however, if you can if you have an exterior light and a flashlight. Read more

Pictures of the thermometer don’t show that the window is transparent with the LCD imposed on it. The reading can be difficult to see because there is no solid background behind the reading. At night, I couldn’t read it at all, even while using a flashlight. Read more

Item is perfect for what I need. It was easy to attach to the backdoor window, and is very accurate in temperature reading. I do think the manufacturer would be wise to back light the numerals or utilize indiglo green or orange for easier reading. Read more

I bought this for my classroom to use with science lessons. It’s never given an accurate temperature reading. It’s often reading 20 or so degrees above the actual temperature. I brought it home to try it again and the same issue. Love the idea and the price, but wish it read the temps accurately. Read more
