Wow, the patchouli smell is pretty strong and the scent stays on the skin for quite a while. It smells really nice. It helps my dry hands quite a bit. It is much more gentle on skin than regular hand soap. My son said it smells so good he wants to wash his clothes with it. It foams up really good with one ounce of the soap and 7 ounces of water mixed in an 8 ounce foaming soap dispenser. The value for the money is incredible considering how many refills I can get from a gallon jug. It is super thick, like the consistency of honey. It cleans hands effectively and rinses off well. I say all of the same things about the citrus medley, which I tried first. It smells like fresh squeezed citrus fruit to me and I really love the fresh clean scent. It seems a lighter scent than the patchouli and doesn't seem to linger on the skin as long, which is kind of a shame to me because it smells so good. It is my favorite scent of the two. I use this soap with a foaming dispenser. The Lemon Grass scent is mild, The liquid soap is thick and cleans well, as a foaming soap. I only use 2 oz per 16 oz bottle, so I will get 64 refills at .62 cents per refill which is a great for my budget. My hands seem to be less dry. Read more

As other reviewers have said, this stuff is very thick, just shy of honey consistency. Otherwise it is very similar to the big name brand castile liquid soap. It dilutes, not as easily because it is so thick, but it does. Scent is good, not as strong as other peppermint soaps I have used, but still strong enough especially if you only dilute it a little. Only thing I have had some small issues with is getting it to dilute properly for a foaming hand soap dispenser, it tends to clog it up a little unless you give it 24 hours or so to fully dilute. It smells good but is WAY too thick. I tried refilling a dispenser and the soap comes out of the bottle in one big glump. Then I used a funnel but it's too thick to move through the funnel spout. Just a tiny drip at a time. It'll take hours to refill my three glass pump dispensers. Edit: Ok, it doesn't take hours to refill, it moves through the funnel in about 5 minutes. Read more

I am very sensitive to smells. Perfumes, colognes, scented hand sanitizers, deodorants, etc. can easily put me in a bad place for hours. This soap smells great and doesn't set off my allergies.
