I used two other brands from the health food store for around 1.5 years before switching to this brand. I had experienced a sore throat that wouldn't go away and took a break for a couple of months before purchasing this product. It does indeed dissolve clear and is virtually undetectable. Amazing product! I am over 50 and my skin and nails were showing it. I have tried several collagen supplements but have not seen noticeable results until trying this one. I mix one scoop in black coffee and quickly stir. It dissolves fully and does not alter the taste. I am noticing better skin texture. OUTSTANDING product! It's priced a little higher than similar collagen supplements but worth every penny in my opinion. This is formulated to be as bioavailable (easily absorbed) as possible, is from a highly reputable brand that follows good manufacturing processes and openly publishes third party testing results for each product on their website, and only sources from grass fed cows. I've tried numerous collagen supplements over the years and every single one, including this one, has a bit of a gross flavor and smell. That's just how it goes. However, this one dissolved easily and stirred well, and mixing it with a protein shake, water enhancer, or drink mix easily hides the flavor. I've taken this daily for about a week now and can absolutely feel a difference in my skin, nails, and even just overall energy levels. Most of us, at least in the USA, don't get much collagen in our diets so adding this to your supplement or meal planning regimen helps add nutrients that your body may not be getting elsewhere. I’d previously been using collagen powder from a big box store and this seems comparable to me. The powder is a fine texture without clumping and easily mixes with milk.
