I love this vest. I got it when there was a discount so the price is reasonable. It wears very comfortable while walking and running. The weight is distributed front and back and easily adjusted with small bags of iron sand (I didn’t cut it open to check but it’s magnetic, not strong though) so that I can add on more weight gradually. I’m very torn about this vest. It’s a well made vest. I like the way the vest distributes the weight and there’s a big range to adjust the weight from light to very heavy. It came with 14 weight bags! However, the vest looks large on a petite female. I wish it was shorter in length but it is good that my husband can wear it. However he doesn’t want to wear it out because he says it looks like a bulletproof vest and with the small American flag patch on the chest, people might mistake him as ICE. Lol. But in this day and age, I guess that would not be so far fetched. People might give me funny looks as to why a lady is walking around with a bulletproof vest on a walking trail. Due to the length, the bottom of the vest hits my thighs when I try to squat with it. I also don’t like the humongous Velcro straps front of the belly but they do stabilize the vest and make it form fitting. I don’t like how the vest still looks loose and bulky. I think the design of this vest makes it more comfortable to wear than others but I don’t feel quite comfortable about wearing it in public. Need some time to decide if I should return. Read more

This is the "best bang for your buck" weighted vest you can get on amazon. First of all, this vest has removable weights. I started with 8-9 lbs, so I remove 8 weighted bags. It's one size fit all. It's perfect for both man and woman despite your size. I like how the weight bags are event distributed for front, back, bottom, and top. I feel my body was more balanced when I walk. The vest fit me well. Some buyers noted a harsh smell. I didn't notice a smell until I was pulling it off. It was faint and I had to stick it right up to my nose. My shirt had a slight smell on it, but it wasn't permanent. I gave it 3 stars because the pocket the sand bags go in could be easier to use and the vest gets hot if wearing a long time. The sand bags also dont really keep their shape once placed in the vest. So it all goes to the lowest point of the pocket. I walk for about 60 to 80 minutes and my shirt was soaked in the front and back. This was in 65F temps and a mild an pleasant morning. This is just walking through my neighborhood not hiking or anything more strenuous. The weight on the vest evens out well. I leave the straps as loose as possible for air flow. I found I can slide my water bottle in to get separation from the vest and my chest to keep it from getting to warm. It also let's me be hands free. I got it on Black Friday type deal. For the money and the fact the weight is adjustable, I think it's a good vest. I was using a backpack with weights inside, but this is much more comfortable. Read more
