Purchased this for my teenage son to workout with - adding weight to his squats, lunges and jumping moves. It adjusted well to fit, seems like good quality, love the weight adjustability-so easy to remove and replace the weighted packets. I borrowed it for a hike and felt overall it was comfortable. Understand though that over a long period of time (my hike was about 2 hours) the pressure on one’s shoulders will begin to increase the fatigue there. I’m also petite and can’t really imagine running in this vest, as the bounce of the vest would be more uncomfortable than the just the added weight. This is a great vest if you want adjustable weight, for workouts, walking and hiking. A little more challenging if there’s going to be bounce in the activity. Nice design to distribute the weight evenly between the front and back. I want one for myself for running, but will look for something with a lower minimum weight and a smaller profile that will conform to my petite size better. Read more

Great vest for folks that want to have the ability to change the weight as they progress in their fitness journey. I ended up gifting this to a friend. It didn't fit well as a larger-chested person. It hurt to wear for me. I switched back to a vest version that clasped in the front, instead of this pullover version. Read more

So far, I LOVE this. I can add or remove weights, put my phone in the front pocket. I’ve excited to get stronger and go up in weight. Side note: does have a strong smell out the box but i only think bc it’s been in a box. Read more

I liked the idea of a weighted vest, but it is bulky and I have a hard time getting past the stigma of the obvious look of it. Pros: -the weight bags come out of the pockets to adjust the weight which is nice. -the sides are adjustable. it is fairly comfortable with a tshirts under it. I would not recommend skin contact with the vest with rubbing irritation. -the vest seems to be durable for repeated use. - gets the jobs done. cons It is bulky and snug. I'm so glad I bought an adjustable vest! I started with the default 4lb and was really surprised how heavy it felt! I don't want to stress my joints, so I am working up at 2 week intervals. Just started adding a couple bags to up it to 6lbs. I would have been overworked if I got a default 10lb vest. If you are young and can challenge yourself go for it. But older and careful this is a GREAT option. Love the reflectors for safety. The front pocket holds dog treats and poop bags. No phone on the boobs for me.
