I really like how the folding mechanism makes this hair dryer easy to store and travel with. Cable management is also easy, thanks to the strap attached to the power cord. The power cord is also really nice and long, making positioning easy without much risk for pulling or tugging the plug from the outlet. The unit is also itself compact and light-weight, which I appreciate as sometimes holding things for extended periods puts stress on my old-lady wrists. The digital display is bright and clear, easy to read. I have curly hair, and my general interest is in using the diffuser attachment, which attaches securely via magnets. It has a generous diameter and gave me noticeable volume without creating frizz. The three heat settings I feel are very sufficient, especially considering typically I remain on the lowest setting for the majority of the time. Three air speed settings are also plenty, and I very rarely use more than the first. It probably took me less than 10 minutes to get my hair to an acceptable level of dryness on just the lowest setting. The buttons and mechanisms are all very intuitive, but I will be keeping the little instruction manual so I never forget any details, such as how to clean the unit; the self-clean function is very handy, and the back filter screws off easily for a light dusting if necessary. As far as run quietness goes, I did not think it was any quieter than any other hair dryer I have ever used. I would not try to have a conversation even while running on the lowest settings; it is noisy, these things are probably unavoidable. Still, I am very impressed by how quickly and easily it dried my hair to my satisfaction, leaving my curls soft and fluffy with plenty of volume while staying smooth. I would definitely recommend this hair dryer to people who do a lot of traveling, or to stylists who like to keep a light kit for on the go. I would also recommend this hair dryer to anyone with hand strength issues who wants to maintain some independence in styling their own hair, as the light weight and ease of operation may be more convenient than other larger, heavier models of hand-held blow dryers. This ionic hair dryer is really impressive…it dries hair fast without that harsh heat feeling. The airflow is strong…the ionic feature really helps cut down frizz…& my hair looks smoother & shinier after using it. The attachments are actually useful…the concentrator helps with styling…& the diffuser works great for curls or waves without blowing everything around. This 1800W foldable travel hairdryer (or just regular home use) comes with a diffuser and two concentrator nozzles that attach magnetically. The wind speed is really strong, even without a concentrator on. When I first plugged it in, I didn't realize the "on" switch was turned on, and the air force blew it right off the counter! The noise says 70dB but on my watch decibel meter I measured 88dB. It's not much different than any other hair dryer I've used (as far as noise). The hottest setting (250F) did not burn my scalp at all. Some people like a really hot hairdryer so I figured I'd mention that. I've found that all newer hairdryers aren't blazing hot like the old ones you really could burn your scalp with. It dried my hair in a reasonable amount of time. The self cleaning feature is really interesting. Mine's not dirty yet, but to do it, you just long press the cool button until the cleaning mode turns on, which lasts 8 seconds. The weight was good, I'd consider it light compared to others I've used like Shark. The cord is a long 8ft long (pretty flexible, too, not too stiff). I also like that the cord is white, not black, which looks better in my bathroom. Overall a good hairdryer if you are looking for a fold up lightweight one, but maybe wait for it to go on sale. This stylish hair dryer folds up which makes it perfect for tucking away in a drawer in my bathroom. The attachments pop on and off easily, and the diffuser especially works really well with the unit. The heat never got hot too hot that it hurt my scalp, and it was enough to dry my hair quickly. I really like how it looks in the bathroom and the cord is 8' long which makes it perfect for moving around. The hair dryer might be small and lightweight but it’s really strong and the quality is there. The power is definitely there. The hairdryer can fold which is great for storage. But it’s already really small as it is. The nozzles are magnetic and holds really well when in use. With the looks and the modes and the power I’d say the value of money is there. It checks all the boxes for me but I don’t do much when it comes to styling my hair. Read more
