I am not a professional hair stylist, just a simple gal that likes quality products when I need them. I can't speak to how this won't damage hair or is safer for hair, but I will happily tell you my first impression on using this dryer. The weight of this dryer is as expected for a quality tool, not super light. The nozzles were great and very different from dryers I have tested in the past. Diffuser is giant and the two other nozzles are very thin and make it very easy to direct the wind. I like how this tool folds up for travel, definitely a plus. Also, the metal air vent on the end comes off for cleaning out lint, which is great. I took under 4 minutes to dry my hair, on the highest wind and heat setting, which is also great since I have past my bra strap, thin but a lot of hair. I liked how it looked after using the tool. The button placement for the heat setting was right where I like to hold my dryer and I quickly noticed when I turned down the heat setting. That was a bit annoying, but I figured out to hold the tool farther down the handle. The other issue is price. When I picked this up to review, the price was almost 150 dollars, which sounded ridiculous. At the time of writing this review it is 99 dollars and is also offering a coupon. So, do I think it is worth 150 dollars? Not to me. 99 dollars? Maybe, but I would be looking around to see comparables. The media could not be loaded. This hairdryer is amazing. It has 4 levels of heat, you get a Cold setting, 140, 190, and. 250. Then you get three levels of how hard it blows. On the top speed it is really quite for how much air it is forcing out. The back is magnetic. You just pull it off clean it out any kind of lint or dust that gets in there just put it back on with the magnet. There’s a diffuser end, and end attachment to straighten hair and another one that helps make it more wavy or curly all of these attached magnetically super simple. The handle you just twist it and it collapses and makes it really small. I feel it’s a great compact size for travel traveling. Your hair turns out smooth silky with no frizz. It drives super quick five minutes or less. I think it’s well worth the money. The only thing I could see they could I would be a little brush where you could clean the back off with when it gets lint and dust on it, but you can use an old toothbrush for that maybe a carrying bag that would also be great but it’s still five stars to me just amazing. I LOVE this hair dryer. It suits multiple uses for me, for both my hair and for crafting lol. I love the ability to see the temperature it's on with the little screen it has. And the ability to control the temperature. The attachments it comes with are a great help too, making it easier for me to blow out my hair. As my hair type can be a bit finicky to work with. It works well and the weight to it is not too heavy, and the size is perfect! I prefer smaller hair dryers as they fit my small bathroom better.
