This mount exceeded all expectations I had of it. I saw it featured on Freakin' Reviews and was convinced to give it a chance. Keep in mind this is a vertical only phone mount. The quality at first glance seemed mediocre to me with several thin plastic components, but I have had this device for over a year with near daily use and it looks as new as the day I unpackaged it. This is a testament to how well engineered it is. They used the amount of materials they needed to in order to produce a sturdy well made product without pointless excess. The ease of use is far superior to all other phone mounts I have tried, and it has a very sturdy grip on the phone once you drop it in the mount and give it a tiny wiggle to settle it in. It's a true single hand mount, not requiring any strange grips or awkward angles to seat and release the device from it. The suction cup has some sort of reusable adhesive on it, which results in an extremely firm mount wherever it is put. It also has the best vent mount I have ever seen. It doesn't force itself onto the vent with pressure and twisting like some other vent mounts do. The small hook with the twist to tighten it is very well designed, and I didn't have the same fear of damaging my vents that other vent mounts I've used gave me. It even has a rubber material on the back of the mount where it touches the vents so that it can avoid scuffing the visible portions of the vent over time from bumps on the road. This is a product I have and continue to highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an amazing vertical phone mount. It's going to be hard for someone to beat this level of quality and convenience, and the addition of things like the rubber pad on the vent mount to prevent scuffs shows they care about my car as much as I do. Easy to use, the phone slips in and out easily, but stays secured in place while driving. It keeps my phone in a place where I can safely view the navigation on it. At first, I was concerned about the sticky glue on the suction cup. I thought it would leave permanent residue. I used it for a couple weeks, then pulled it off the windshield to check for residue. It came off completely clean. It also reapplied with no issues. No complaints at all! Excellent phone holder. Read more

I do think that this style of phone holder with the butterfly mechanism is the best I’ve used. The suction cup seems pretty sticky and I have no fears of it popping off as of yet. The instructions appear to have been poorly translated from Chinese and there are some typos that make the sticky pad installation slightly unclear, but nothing egregious. The arm also extends deceptively little compared to what the pictures depict. Good product overall, though. Read more

The AINOPE Phone Mount for Car (2024) is a solid, well-built mount that holds my phone securely, even on bumpy roads. The clip grips the air vent firmly without slipping, and the one-handed operation makes it easy to place and remove the phone. The compact design doesn’t block airflow, which is a plus. However, the adjustability is somewhat limited—I wish it had more flexibility for better viewing angles. Overall, it’s a reliable and sturdy phone mount, great for everyday use, but could improve in versatility. Read more

super easy to install. Cleaning cloths included to clean the spot for the sticky pad to stick to dash. The suction cup and dash pad have amazing suction power. My phone slips in easily and the side arms help hold it in place. Love that the neck extends as well which makes finding the perfect placement of the base easier. I do not feel it would be as secure in landscape mode. Otherwise it works great. I am also very impressed with the vent clip. I have purchased many vent clips and been disappointed by everyone. When I saw this dashmount came with one I figured if just throw it in the glove box and never use it. But after figuring out how to tighten it on the vent I thought to myself; This might be the first vent clip I actually use this summer. The tightening clip on it is genius. I would buy another. I liked it at first, seems logical, spring loaded holder that automatically adjusts to hold the phone. I had the similar ones that you have to press the two buttons on the side to release but they always broke. We were on a good streak with these. Typical nonsense like twice a year or so they’ll just fall off the suction cup because of the sun and weather which seems to be the standard with suction cup mounts. Removing the phone can be tedious because the side arms don’t like to let go for whatever reason. So you find yourself knowingly pushing the phone straight up to get it clear of the side arms before trying to remove the phone. At least I did. My wife on the other hand didn’t come to the same conclusion and must have been pulling the phone out and snapped off one of the side fingers. Which wouldn’t be a total loss if Krazy Glue still worked, but it hasn’t held anything together in over a decade. Also the microscopic screw that holds the side finger on could not possibly be any smaller and is useless in trying to rig it back together and nowhere can I find a similar screw but longer. Crazy cheap design. So now I’m back on the search for another mount like this one, but that hopefully isn’t made like poo. Read more
