REVIEWED: 2025 New Stereo in-Ear Headphones with Microphone and Volume Remote Control Type-C Connector-Black. Brand: aioklcy The packaging is very simple. A very small 1 3/8” x 2 5/8” white box with minimal information on the outside: "New - 2025 New Stere...-C Connector - Black" which is enough information to pull it off a shelf and put it in a shipping box. A few of my previous jobs involved serving as an audio engineer for television and radio productions so I may be more critical of ear buds than you, but that is how I am approaching this review. I am not expecting to use these earbuds for professional use but for just personal enjoyment of mostly music from my cell phone which is a Samsung 24+. It uses a USB-C connector which fits my cell phone. WHAT I LIKED: I thought these earbuds sounded pretty good. I was impressed with the bass response, and they presented with a clear sound through all frequency ranges. It comes with 6 ear tips probably made of silicone, to allow the buds to fit small, medium or large ear canals. “Medium” size came on my pair of earbuds, so I didn’t need to change them. The small and large rubber earpieces are available if you might need one of them. To exchange the silicone earpieces, I recommend squeezing the silicone ear inserts while removing or installing them on each ear bud. The extra earpieces are placed on a small strip of plastic to keep them together. I am not expecting to use these for professional use but for just personal enjoyment of mostly music from my cell phone which is a Samsung 24+ which uses a USB-C connector. Once you are happy with the size of the earpieces, take the other sizes and throw them back in the box in case you change your mind about which ones to use in the future. Part of the cord is covered in woven fabric material which provides some extra durability while in use. Possibly a good selection for kids. Cord Length is fine. WHAT I’M NEUTRAL ABOUT: The earbuds come with an inline volume control and a play and pausing control along with control buttons to answer a cell phone call (if used with your phone) and hang up without taking off your earbuds. WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE: I noticed a lot of “cable noise” when touching any part of the cable. This is called “microphonics”. It is not much of a problem when I am sitting still and reading a book. But any movement of any part of the cord or any movement of my mouth or ears would produce a great amount of noise over the music. I would not recommend these for any professional use because of this noise problem. I have used less expensive ear buds which do not present any microphonics problem. The inline volume and phone control is positioned so close to my head, I can’t see the control, but it has some tactile buttons to figure out how to control the volume and answer/hang up a phone call. Changing the volume on my phone will be easier, but maybe that's just me. BOTTOM LINE: I think the price point is a little too high but they do sound very good when you aren’t moving around.
