Seeing the other positive reviews, I was confident this air purification filter would be a good choice for my country house, plus it was on sale for a great value. We are located off of a dirt road and have a lot of dust that tracks in and settles everywhere. As soon as my unit arrived, I plugged it in and started off with the pet setting/high fan. I could tell a difference almost immediately and after a few hours the air smelled like it does after a nice clean rain. The unit is attractive, quiet and doesn't take up much space. One of my favorite purchases ever! This stilylish machine moves alot of air. It has a feature that visually tracks air quality. I moved it into the small room where I keep the cat boxes and it glowed BLUE(good air) at a reading of around 10. As I was scooping the the boxes, the reading quickly turned ORANGE(fair air) and then move to RED(bad air) with a reading of over 500....a minute after finishing the scooping, the machine had done its job, and the reading returned to BLUE. The media could not be loaded. This one works better than the little ones I purchased from same brand. I did suggest the oil diffuser get better engineering as it doesn’t actually work . I wouldn’t say this unit can cover 3000 sq. I would say at least 700sq for sure but no more than 1000. For the price, I recommend if living in a small apartment. I have pets and the fur does pile up at the floor base in front of the unit which makes it easy to clean up . It’s loud compared to the smaller ones but I don’t mind. Read more
