This is a compact unit that filters a good area of air (20'x30'). I love the look of it, especially when illuminating the underside blue light to let people know something is there that is electrical and working that shouldn't be covered up. I believe it is keeping pet dander down to the point my eyes aren't itching near as much and my sinuses are better. I don't smoke in the home, but this winter there is an area of my basement where I may use this to avoid having to go outside in inclement weather, because I am confident it will clean up the air in that somewhat confined, inconspicuous space. It is very quiet on the lowest setting. The middle setting is relatively quiet, and the highest setting ramps up to sounding similar to a bathroom exhaust fan, and it is pushing a good amount of air through the unit's filter, taking it in through the top and exhausting it out the sides. The timer is very convenient and allows me to target its use better, thus, preserving the life of the filter. The cat litter box odor is less, pretty much undetectable, but wasn't really too bad to begin with. I like the fact that it can be plugged into my laptop and run just the same as it does when plugged into the wall, freeing up a plug socket. My concern with the product was replacing the filter. The unit, after 1440 hours of run time, will notify by the blinking display that it is time to replace the filter--that is a great feature. I asked Rufus within the ad about where to purchase replacement filters, and Rufus said he cannot find one at this time, but the unit is new to market and should have them later on. Rufus suggested another filter of the same size, but to check with the manufacturer to ensure it is compatible. I reached out to the manufacturer and inquired about a filter, and they quickly replied stating they had been shipped and will be coming to Amazon soon and they will provide me a link for the product when they are available. I have confidence in this product and knowing I will be able to get the replacement filters designed specifically for them soon. As far as air-purifiers go that can handle a 600 square foot space (20'x30'), this very portable & effective unit is the one for me. Read more
