There's a lot to like about this clock for $10, which is what I paid for it. The charging ports work well, and it has a lot of features. Especially useful is the alarm modes weekday/weekend. I would say there's only two sticking points, otherwise it would be perfect. One is the loudest setting for the alarm isn't very loud and wouldn't wake up heavy sleepers, the other one is the lowest brightness for the display is still too bright at night and may keep someone awake. You could always turn the display off entirely but that kind of defeats the purpose of a clock. Anyway, I think it's still worth the money and it's a great size and it looks cool, so that's a plus. Works great, got for my 4th grader to learn how to be more responsible and independent. By waking himself up for school in the morning. This doesn’t have all the bells and whistles making it simple, so he can get the hang of it. It works with batteries and being plug up which is great because just in case of power outages it still works. It’s loud enough that we can hear it going off in our room so it definitely wakes him up. You can turn down the volume as well for people who don’t need it as loud. But my child is a heavy sleeper. Okay so it works. There was zero and I do mean 0 instructions in the Box. So I went with what I knew would work with other clocks and I seem to get it to work for the most part and figure out all of the features. It is small, it is cheaply made but as long as it tells time, and an alarm Works we're good to go good for traveling. We put it in a spare room that we have more of a decoration than anything else just because we didn't have a clock in there. Takes a couple of triple A batteries which they included otherwise I would give it a lower review. If they were to put some instructions in there would have made things a little bit easier but it wasn't really that hard to figure out. As far as durability, I wouldn't drop it. Read more

Easy setup - nice big display. Not using it as an alarm clock so can't comment on that functionality. Only complaint I've got was the description on Amazon wasn't clear that it is only powered by a USB cable - thought I had ordered a clock with a standard power cable.
