Alba Botanica Hawaiian Plumeria Shampoo 12 Ounce Pack of 2

I love this shampoo and conditioner combination. I have color treated (high and low lights) and it leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth without weighing it down. Having it in the pump is extremely convenient and the large print on the bottle makes it so much easier to see what product I'm using because I need glasses to read. I typically have to squint my eyes and hope I'm readying shampoo or conditioner when I use product. It also smells great. I was recently visiting a relative who had this in their shower. As soon as I got home, I ordered it (and some other Alba products - all pictured). I've bought this product multiple times. It definitely has the best plumeria scent as well as their conditioner. We made my grown children who no longer live with me close their eyes and smell. They all said that is definitely momma's shampoo. They said it brings them back to when they actually still lived at home. Unfortunately I received this shampoo unsealed, and leaking. I don't know how to make the company aware of that since I don't want to return it because it's not available where I live and therefore hard to get. I've used the Coconut version and liked it, and since I have pink hair I decided to try this version. It smells nice, I wish I would've received all the shampoo in the bottle. Read more

I love this product and I don't have to use conditioner every day. It works great for my hair and I like that I can get a big bottle of it. Here is the down side. The bottle has a pump that is screwed closed, but in shipping, and jostling, the pump comes open. The bottle is heavy enough to pump itself as the box is moved through transit. Every time I get this product, I have lost at least 20% in the bottle and if other items ship with it, they are covered in shampoo. It seems this would benefit from tape over the pump to hold it in place, or at a minimum putting it in a sealed bag so if shampoo does leak, it doesn't get on the rest of your order. I try and make sure this is the only item mailing to avoid shampoo on other things, but its weird that the conditioner comes in a sealed bag, but not the shampoo. Read more

The shampoo is a little watery texture compared to most but you don’t need a lot. Smells great even after you dry your hair. I have to wash my hair everyday due to oil and it cleans it great and last all day. I feel like since using it my hair doesn’t fall out as much , love this brand also use their face scrub. Read more

I've been using the Plumeria shampoo and conditioner for years, but this is the first time I bought the large pump bottle of shampoo. It did leak a bit in shipping, perhaps a teaspoon or so. The pump mechanism doesn't seem to seal up well. I love this shampoo. It's intended for color-treated hair, which mine is not, but I like the fragrance so much (I prefer flowers to fruits!) Our whole family use this shampoo, so we like its big size and the ingredients are natural and it smells good. We have been using the same shampoo for the last 2 years, so auto ship this shampoo a few times per year. This shampoo does dry my hair a little more than the other herbal shampoos I have used. So if you have dry curly hair, try a smaller bottle first. Read more
