I like the fact it is a lotion, so tanning is not a two step process. I'm not usually into the botanic stuff, but the price was right so gave it a chance. Pleasantly surprised. Moisturizing but not greasy. Dries down quickly. I use a self tanner daily on my lower legs only. Has a nice color, not orange-y. Doesn't streak. I have histamine intolerance so finding a product that doesn't cause rashes, break outs, wheezing due to cloying scents, is tricky. My previous product by nature's gate was discontinued and I was so sad. I gave this a try, hoping the scent wouldn't be perfumey and sicken me or cause skin irritation. It is amazing. I am buying my third container right now. Please don't ever discontinue this product! I am pale with freckles but this goes on and leaves a natural looking tan without being orange. I want something that feels light, with a refreshing scent, no streaking, no fake n bake. The scent is citrusy to me because of the orange and grapefruit oils in it but the sweet almond adds a touch of sweetness, to me it smells tropical and I love that. I apply to my face after every shower, just a thin amount and my arms and legs. It lasts me months. Sometimes I stack color if I'm gardening 2 or 3 days in a row because I moisturize beforehand. If you're looking for dramatic color then you will probably be disappointed. If you are fair skinned and just want to look less like a ghost it will fit you perfectly and NATURALLY. This works pretty well. Slightly orangy, but I expected that. Better than ghost white lol. So this does not have the usual gross self tanner smell that all of them seem to have and if I had to choose a scent for this product, I'd say cotton candy is pretty spot on and that's not a bad scent, but be prepared because it is overpowering. Again, smells good but it will interfere with your perfume if you wear it. Quite moisturizing as well. Read more

This sunless tanner is so nice, I love everything about it. The smell is light and I think it smells really good, kind of like bubble gum. I had my husby sniff me after I put it on, and he thought it smelled really good too. The color is very natural looking, on my skin it does not look orange at all. Like I read in other reviews, it is more yellowish than orange color, which works for me as I have a yellow tone to my skin. I'ts not a gradual tan for me either, I put a normal ammount on after my shower, not a lot not a little, and i really noticed the color the next day, as did my husby and a friend, and i ddnt even exfoliate beforehand. It does not leave any streaks at all, not that I have noticed. It seems to blend beautifully. I’m about as pale as a slice of Wonder bread. It’s hard to find a self tanner that doesn’t look brown or orange-y on me - but this was perfect. It gives me a subtle bronze-y glow so I don’t blind people on the beach during that first post-winter swim. Bonus points because it doesn’t smell bad, is moisturizing and doesn’t streak. Hot tip: exfoliate really well before applying. I use a cactus bristle brush and brush my dry skin before showering. Then I moisturize after showering and apply the self Tanner when the moisturizer dries. Perfect application! Remember to was your hands well after applying. I had zero weird staining from this. WARNING! I tried to return this product, but received a message that there are NO REFUNDS. I didn't see that note when I bought it, but I just looked on the Amazon product page and I see the note now. Bummer! This product smells like a Hawaiian day right out of the tube, but within about 30 minutes of putting it on my legs, a putrid smell developed, which then permeated the air! My husband walked into the room and said, "YUCK! What is that SMELL?! It smells like URINE!" "Oh, that's me!" "You PEED?!" "NO!!! It's tanning cream! It stinks, huh?!" With a crunched up face, "YES!" This urine smell got everywhere, even though I only put it on my legs. I can't imagine the trouble I would have been in if I put it on my whole body or, God forbid, my face! Eek! I, mistakenly, thought that the smell would go away overnight, so I went to bed. Oh my goodness! What an awful sleep! We felt like we were sleeping in a urinal. We toughed it out, because I really wanted a beautiful tan (my skin is alabaster). What a mistake! By the morning, the stench multiplied and it was on everything! Screw the tan! I stink! I jumped into the shower and scrubbed my legs with a washcloth and soap 3 times in a row and they still stunk! I had to wash my sheets and blanket (even though they were fresh the night before); and hand wash my precious stuffed animal (yes, I sleep with a stuffed animal). "Poor Pinkie! I'm sorry, girl!" Even two weeks later, the faint smell of urine saturates my nostrils. I get migraine attacks from smells, so that sucks. If you are sensitive to smell, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
