These probably work for most people

Pros: Very cute Good quality, real leather Roomy, spacious toe box (without the toe box looking huge). Plenty of room for socks, with room to spare. Good arch support They will accept custom orthotics My problems: Inadequate metatarsal cushioning. This is a big deal with metatarsalgia and bunions. Without the cushion, walking is painful. The heels are just high enough over the toes that my feet are pushed onto my metatarsals, exacerbating bunion and metatarsal pain. The ankles are narrow and painfully rub against my ankles. Read more

Oh I wanted so badly for these to work. Alegria shoes are a staple for me, I have several pair of the Keli slip on shoes and they are so comfortable. Needing something more dressy I ordered these, but they are just narrow enough that they are uncomfortable. I guess if they had a wide width it would work but I have not seen this style offered that way. I ordered my same size, 39, as in all my other pairs. I thought about ordering a 40 but since the length is not the real problem, I don't think I will do that. Read more
