I wear these as my number one choice when the weather is warm. I am surprised at how comfortable they are, and they work with everything- dresses, jeans, and shorts. They are comfortable and look great. I was worried they would be slippery but I have not found that to be an issue, even though the sole is a bit stiff. Read more
These are so comfortable. Being Alegria is means they have arch support and a have adjustment across the forefoot and ankle. If you have orthotics or want to change the footbed you can. Love the dark red color. Can be worn as casual or dressy. So versatile. I have a wide foot and am limited on which shoes will fit. Alegria usually comes through for me! Read more
I have about three pair of Alegria shoes and two pair of sandals. These are my favorite sandals. Alegria shoes are comfortable right out of the box, they have the nice insole support that can be replaced. The shoes and sandals last forever. The nice thing about these sandals is more of the rap around design around the ankle giving great support. I also like the wood looking wedge soles. There is a trick to putting on the ankle strap for its best Comfort. These shoes have a nice lining to the leather so there is not any rubbing. When you put the sandal on do not have your feet flat and tighten it down. Rocker shoes need some give in the strap when you walk. You either need to place the strap slightly loose or just raise your ankle about and 1/2 to 1 inch off the ground and then put on the strap. You'll find the shoes are a lot more comfortable. These shoes run a little more narrow than the typical Alegria shoes. Which is fabulous for me because I have more narrow feet. Anybody with wide feet probably will need a wide width. I highly recommend these sandals. Alegria puts out new designs of sandals every year and then retires the look. These sandals are from a different year but are new & fabulous. That's why the price is less than the typical over $100. Addition: these shoes only work well on even surfaces indoors or Outdoors. They do not work well on uneven surfaces. The flat rocker bottom makes the shoe very unsteady on uneven surfaces and in some situations can actually lead to a turned ankle. Fabulous multilayer supportive base, adjustable front and back for perfect fit. A sandals with hat looks leopard colored, trendy that doesn’t scream nursing home, orthotic sandal. Alegria is a great brand of high quality shoes that also come in extended sizes! These fit my 13N feet perfectly. These are sandals that make you forget you are wearing shoes that a person can vacation & walk in without punishing their feet for looks. I have almost 8 pair of various Alegria shoes. All are spectacular! I’m so glad they give us extended sizes pretty florals, leopard & animal prints as I’m tired of only the basics from the few other brands that offer shoes that fit my size! This style Allegria is my absolute favorite. I have a very difficult time finding shoes ans sandals that fit my feet well - and I need a strong arch. I find that some other popular brands, with good arch support also shove the foot outward, causing supination. Allegria holds the foot normally, despite the arch. They are made of leather and they look great. Adjustable straps with heavy-duty velcro allow any width foot a snug fit. Best of all, they last a long time! You can even replace the soles. I've had some of this style Allegra for a very long time and they're still terrific. Read more
